The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

I still remember my first night on the newly formed 2BL TS.

Marty "who's this"
Me "Josh from the forums"
Marty "you the one who always puts Josh at the end of his posts"
Me "yeah that's me"
Marty "stop doing that, it's ****ing annoying"
Me "righto"

Yeah we don't need Nexus but it's nice to have the whole squad together. plus it helps my KD when I can sit in his tank :)

Won't be on tonight - 20oz Megasaurus Steak is being demolished.

Josh ;)

this genuinely made me chuckle. :D

Hungry Horse, I won't call it a restaurant, the last time I was there a lovely chap got bottled after trying to sell drugs to a family having dinner.

Nope the one I had was defo 20oz of steak, very little fat. Was very nice.

Bf4 is good etc I like to fly and tank things.

Sadly I'm working up North this week so won't be back on until Thurs night.

Personally I like the repper who gets in your tank, shoots at EVERYTHING, ALL THE TIME and bails at the first sign of trouble /sarcasm

TDM I know, but those revives :)

Anyone up for some server rolling tonight then?

Had a fun quick game last night with Squeeze and dodg3rman. Nearly flawless round with squeeze and me at the top of the table and Joe's mate itsV1RUS languishing in 4th :D

We don't need nexus to roll a server although it becomes ridiculously easy when he does play. Just believe in the power of OcUK!

Unfortunately virus pummelled the server the next few rounds couldn't even keep e on the dam really hard going emptied the server nicely! His kd is something like 5.4

It seems to have dropped off a bit at the moment but winter is looming.

The chopper run we had on cte the other day was mint "she looks like a steak house but handles like a bistro"

Shame I crashed out of that round with the E_OUTOFMEMORY issue. :(

But good news..

Had a disastrous gaming night last night.

Before the hotfix was available I thought I'd revert my drivers to an older version. Download speeds were atrocious, so I finally flipped and decided win10 had to go.

Attempted to revert to win8.1 and was left with a machine that thought every ssl certificate it saw was invalid which mean't that I had no way of accessing any https site at all. That mean't I had no way of downloading anything that I could use to fix the machine.

Ended up having to do a clean install of win10, so I've got no way back now. :(

Hopefully these drivers will get me back in the Battlefield, but I've got 3 years of OS and game tweaking to do now to get my system back the way i like it.

At least sidewinder was on TS to cheer me up when I finally got the system into some semblance of a working machine again. Cheers bud! :)

Did you not do a complete system image backup before putting win10 on?

No :(

The system needed a cleanup anyway, it was win7->win8->win8.1->win10 upgrade.
I've lost a night's gaming, but in the long run I'll have a cleaner leaner machine.

Games were all installed on a separate drive, so I won't need to re-download them all. (And I have most of my steam game installers on an archive drive anyway).
