The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

Hopefully be on tonight to try these AKG K612 headphones out.

Speaking of which, what are the best settings to use in BF4 etc. I believe you posted something before about certain audio settings raider?

My settings in the asus control panel are:

I just set mine to game mode, bottom right corner. Puts some 7.1 surround on my cans but not as much as music mode. Personally I love the surround. Both with music and gaming. Gaming without it sounds a bit flat. Turn SVN off aswell :D.

Tried turning off SVN last night and never again! It is soooooo quite for soldiers voices/leaves rustling, footsteps etc. but come gun fire, explosions etc. it deafens me :p It is almost like for the quiet stuff, my volume level is set to 5% and come the loud parts, volume goes to 100%

Tried various settings out last night but can't decide what I like the best..... For my 2.0 speakers, I find 6 channels, hifi preset to be the best by far but for headphones, various combinations all sound good in their own way.

And yes, that silk road round was ****ing rage inducing, as I said last night:

if it isn't the camping tanks using staff shell on the hills that get you, it is the 5+ JAV engis that get you and if it isn't them, it is the bomber that kills you....

Maps that I will alt-f4 from as soon as they come up:

- pearl market
- silk road
- night zavod

Probably be on for either bf 4 or gta tonight as well.

Problem with pearl market - most of the gameplay critical parts of the map are tight corners inside shotgun optimal range and with the way the game rolls events up the person with the shotgun always wins unless they have hilariously bad aim or incredibly slow reaction times and roll of the dice shotgun v shotgun is incredibly boring gameplay.
