That was kind of fun shame I was struggling to make bullets stick :| have no idea how Hazard was keeping us alive at times under fire from half a dozen or more hostile AT players :S

I actually rode as gunner/rep bitch in a tank with this guy. I have to say, I didn't notice anything untoward. His name is a bit suggestive though eh?
Can someone please explain to me how to get "immobilised" or "critical" with one hit in a tank?
I know you can do more damage by hitting the rear for instance but I sometimes get hit once, in the front and I'm immobilised and just a sitting duck. It's like some players have magic weapons that behave in a way I struggle to explain.

.Everyone running that now instead of Gunner Proxy Scanner? It did get quite a buff I think.
Dunno if they fixed it but there is a spot you can hit from the front on a tank, that does damage like the tank was hit from the rear, and causes immobilisation.
We must have discussed it before on here as I still have the image I used to show the spot
.Or you could have been hit twice at the same time. Or you got hit by a laser guided weapon that does extra damage as it hits the top of your tank.
Hopefully in the next Battlefield the killcams give the damage you took from all enemies that killed you, not just from the guy who shot the final bullet.

I tried to - got swallowed by the closing door and didn't go off then I was on reload - then didn't really think about that I could use one nearby rather than directly inside:

Then had some "netcode" BS with the door when I got out and ended up getting shot when I thought I wasn't inline with the open door - but it isn't very well illustrated in the video as you can't see my input versus what happens so didn't include that bit.
I mostly run incendiary due to how inconsistent I find the "netcode" so don't have to rely on bullets registering when someone is popping RPGs from cover - plus I'm running thermal and try to look around/spam spot as much as possible which reduces the benefit of proxy.
Themals and incendiary every time for me these days. No one seems smart enough to drop flares all over the place it seems

IIRC it's only the abrams that is also vulnerable from the front on the turret, the Russian and Chinese tanks aren't. Raider used to go on about how he'd perfected the SRAW technique where you can fire from the front and get it to hit the rear of the turret to give a 50% + crit in one shot (Without SOFLAM).

Nah, must be Chinese tank too, as that's the one I was testing on in the Test Range

Was gonna say there was very little if any moments when it would have been tactically a good idea for me to rep anyhow - about the only time I had a chance to get out in any useful way was backing off the F flag to drop missile locks.

Also new to BF (at least on PC) its all very strange to me too, if someone could explain like im a child how it works that would be much appreciated. It wouldnt find any games for me unless I used the server selector section and joined some pro russians/germans...
