Mesh should ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS be on Max unless your PC can't handle it. Its draw distance dummies

Forward the port 3659(both udp and tcp) to port 80 (worked for me).

Edit: just to double check this is the "client closed connection" error?

Yes
I've tried with portforward but still getting the same error.

There's very few solutions out there for it. When I was getting the error my ports were all open correctly so it just doesn't make sense.

I get the odd hackusation but I am not good enough in BF4 to get them consistently. Plus I only ever use shotguns and DMRs
