Meh, they'll all be arrested soon enough. Besides if you're going to ddos a competitor I wouldn't hire someone as they could turn on you demanding more money to not let it slip you hired them.
You only need a rudimentary knowledge to perform a ddos attack. It's only when you're aiming at big targets that you need a botnet.

Raged after a very long time, telling people to ****ing spot and what's the point in shooting when it takes a fraction of a second to press Q and it brings up enemies in the field of view which helps you and the team.

This was on BF3 but same applies to BF4 non spotters too.

You should have stayed with us on the BF4 classic server Majnu. We wrecked them for about 4 games in a row!! First game of classic today and I really enjoyed it!
That really threw me, I'm so used to the 3D spotting.

I guess not having 3d spotting makes it a bit easer to flank on an open map, but I'd need more practice to be comfortable with it.
