You stated that you read through the TOS yourself, and Pool clearly outlined that he'd received a report that you were impersonating another user. Impersonation in itself is a violation of our TOS, but additionally to this it can also be considered a form of harassment and as such is another violation of the TOS. And no sorry, freedom of speech and expression is not something observed here on Battlelog. This is a privately owned and moderated forum with its guidelines clearly laid out, those guidelines are agreed to by every user on account creation and if unwilling to adhere to them, then those individuals will find themselves removed from the community.
As also replied to you in the thread, we can only action violations we either witness, or are made aware of, hence why you may see some violations apparently go without action.
As for the parody thing, were you impersonating in a satirical or such manner then that might fly, however you were attempting to give off the impression that you truly are another individual, which can only be taken as full on impersonation.
Now, you can argue and bluster all you like, however we've been quite lenient with the action against you at this time, as the only time out you have received is due to your posts in that thread (as outlined in the OP of that thread, such will result in action being taken). The issue concerning you presentation and everything has been more than clearly outlined to you, so I hope you do take the time to bring it back in line with our guidelines during your time out.
