***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

For me the turning point for horrible MultiGPU performance was July DLC Patch.. Wasn't just AMD and Mantle effected it was across the board.

CTE fixed this, but at the time I had no Fibre and keeping up with the updates was not enough for me to keep playing.

Ahh yes, the dragons teeth mess up, afaik one of those maps is still largely unplayable.

For those into their battlefield at 1080p/120hz I can report that 3 x 980 cards will pump out 120fps in 1080p/200% oversample with everything set to Ultra with the exception of AA.

It needs the power limit set to 120% and a mild overclock in Precision X to get there of +100 on GPU and +100 on RAM.

I am going to experiment with the AA settings and overclock in order to keep the frame rate locked at 120.

I would imagine that super-sampling within the engine would be more efficient and lower latency however I will give it a go next week when I have more time.

One thing to note after the update it reset my fov to default 70 this made game feel little slow. I put mine back to 90 and it felt so good.

Bf4 for me hasn't been this good, it's even better now than when I first done my mantle videos and I didn't think it could get any smoother.

Why couldn't this game just release like this man

Sometimes a fresh pair of eyes is needed to fix something, this is what DICE LA have bought to the table with BF4. The results are pretty spectacular from where the game was 6 months ago.

Is the scaling supposed to be like this? Looks pretty good at 2way sli but its nonexistent beyond that.

Doesnt do that in Crysis 3 though, didnt check other games.

And the frametimes are so bad its noticable at this point

I assume Nvidia is working on drivers or something.

Got a link for where you got those charts please? I am curious to the date.

Nvm, with a 980 on it, I can see it is newish and yer, with the 980 being out 2 weeks, it needs a refined driver. Hopefully it won't take 10 months to get the guys with 980s/970s smoothly gaming.
