I did a benchmark a while back and i played it 8 times one after the other. I still have nightmares about it.


Oh i keep forgetting, they' don't have schools where you come from.

What the **** are we stopping here for? Our objective is twenty clicks north of here.

Mate that was just for that benchmark. If you look at my started threads ive run many benchmarks before that. I know that mission better than any man to have graced the universe. Nothing to write home about granted. That's why i now use a different part of the game. Its a bit less demanding and shorter but its very consistent. ;)

In other news...

Did you know in BF4 you can use your own uploaded logo's? That's right you to can become a part of the fatherland. Sieg heil! :cool:

@1080p on my 3570k @ 4.5hgz and my 7950 @ 1150/1500 on ultra no msaa produces 47-60 fps most of the time but often drops to high 20's, and to 13 fps once when i was in a vehicle :(

changed to high settings with no msaa and it was a vast improvememnt, but still drops in fps at times.

I might try the beta drivers and see if theres much of a difference.

What are you using to monitor gpu and cpu usgae in game?

from reports u could try windows 8 too if you havent already

afterburner & gpu-z most them i think

Using a cluster of things for monitoring, afterburner for cpu usage, fraps for frame rates and gpuz for vram/temps/power usage

I have same setup 3570k (4.7mhz) and 7950 (1100mhz).

I can play max settings 4xmsaa with low post processing at really good framerates around 50+ but in large lobbies my cpu usage will max out and my frame rate will drop to 10fps.

I don't think the i5 is enough for a 64 player games :confused:

I'm so so excited to get on the Open Beta tomorrow. Has anyone devised a 'recommended' settings for different HD resolutions? I can't recall seeing anything on this thread!
 
So we have Kaap test this @ 1600P and he just loaded it up looked at the sky and quit, so he doesn't count and GameGPU (who are Gods on this forum) tested it @ 1600P but they just blew some stuff up for 40 seconds, so that doesn't count either.

It looks to me like Tonester is getting a copy of BF4 :D

I think the discerning people will at least feel safe with their 2GB cards for now :)
