***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

I also had a few crashes I found out this was due to my O/C, which appeared to be stable in all other games apart from this one. Dropped it 200MHZ and a few volts and no more crashes at all.

No Vsync turned off.

TBH I don't really understand CPU/GPU usage that much. But I'd assume that if my GFX are not going over 60% bar the odd time, and my CPU is hovering around 100% then its the CPU at fault. its not at 100% all the time but it does hit it.

Although checking again at 4.2 I did get my GPU's up to 98% for one tiny moment.

Maybe i've got something dodgy running in the background that I'm unaware of

Ahhhh, that explains it. I am so surprised that this is proper working our CPU's.

Other than getting it up to 4.6Ghz or more (to let your GPU's stretch their legs some more), there isn't much you can do. Seems harsh to splash out on another CPU and then you would still need to clock it up.

Maybe the full release will be better for 4 core users.

I doubt you do have anything running but worth having a look when you are just on desktop to see what your CPU and GPU are doing.

Just looking around to see what others are getting and noticed the gamegpu charts for 1080P and what a load of tosh. Did these guys just sit there and think of some numbers?

My single Titan scores more than that on a 64 man server with no boost clocks and stock of 928Mhz and 1502Mhz memory - CPU at 4.625Ghz

Any one else confirm for their systems?

Doh!!! Ignore, that is the AAlpha and not beta

I don't believe a single review site, they are all BS and all not worth reading.

User reviews for the win.

Just looked and found the beta and the averages are closer but the minimums are off still. And agreed with user reviews every time.

Way off on minimums for me and just for Tonester and Matt

Looks like 2GB is coping just fine to me :D

But we already have reports from other users than optimisation is very good. Setter confirmed as much with his dual 670's, scotty confirmed that tri sli is working great for his titan. Think its pretty well optimised already. The only thing that can't be optimised is a 2gb frame buffer.
Pretty impressed with how it runs tbh on 2gb sli'd 670's. Hard to tell true vram use as ab osd and my g15 lcd display isnt running under this.

Cpu wise, im seeing 65% max usage going by coretemp lcd display. Cpu temps of 65c max. The fps im getting in this beta are very similair to what i used to get in bf3 using my original 670 oc'd to +130/+760. Run both at stock now though as the second card is a poor clocker. Cpu temps are slightly lower than bf3, (70c max), but my chip is a very hot running example of the breed.

This may help people identify what they need or what to expect. Not sure on the authenticity but something to mull over.

Just spoken to a friend that was having issues with input lag.
Told him that when i put network smoothing factor to off in the game options it felt much better, he's confirmed it too.
Have a look guys.

OK i done this and it did make a difference ;) thanks, I also set my ingame resolution/refresh rate to 60Hz (i'm using a 144Hz screen) and this also made a noticable change for the better.

One more thing, I have disabled SLI and i am still getting the same FPS (50-60) and GPU usage is now up to 48-53% average From 23-40ish %

I have all settings on high not ultra.

I been playing a bit more on my 3570k on a 64 player server and my 3570k has met it's match.

bouncing between 85-97% usage :(

Frame drops hard when it hits 97%

I'm going to try running oc my 3570k to 4.8 and see if it helps but think it's time for an upgrade.

I actually made the move from an i7 920 to a 3570k, was fine with one card. But once i went sli it was a pretty poor downgrade in hindsight. Quite a few quid later, (3770k then new mobo and 4770k) games run a lot better. Particularly bf3 and now this bf4 beta.

I still say hold off till the game is officialy released Imginy. It may be just poor optimization and the full release will see your CPU holding up much better.

4 weeks till launch, so not long to wait.

I can confirm Windows 8 is not stuttering like Windows 7 for BF4 beta

I installed Win7 2 days ago.. and Win8 yesterday with the sole purpose of playing the battlefield 4 beta.. Windows 7 was awful.. Windows 8 plays nice and smooth like BF3.

I'm going to do a Windows 8 install tomorrow for the lol's :D

Having an issue were i loose sound now. I know the audio on this mobo is poor compared to my old xonar DX, but it's better than nothing.:D
