Even though it was only their second ever one on one match
As for CM Punk, I admit I marked out quite embarrassingly when he won the belt however I cant help but think Edge will use the rematch clause and win it back at the Great American Bash and Punk only won the title last night to get his Money in the Bank gimmick out of the way before it gets too near to it's cut off point (Mania) and they run out of time to have him 'cash it in'

im sure edge will win the WWE title, for the taker fued, but then what does HHH do?

Which is why I fear that Punk will just drop the belt straight back to Edge
Its the only feasible way of keeping Edge and Triple H away from one another, so if they don't have Edge win back the World Title then they have no option to scrap resuming the Edge/Taker feud (one that I'm itching to see start up again)

Yup that's when I used to watch. Best years TBH. The hardcore matches on a Saturday morning on Sky one IIRC and the backstage fights, we'd all go round to my mates to watch back in Year 6 primary school
Lost the spark for me now.
I still remember when they "banned" wrestling at my primary school when someone got a broken arm from the Rock Bottom.

A very entertaining Smackdown.
The matches weren't all that, but in terms of storyline, I was chuckling to myself for pretty much the whole two hours.

but she probably gets the biggest heat in the WWE. gettign a reaction, good or bad, esp when its the biggest in the WWE can only mean one is doing something right.
In terms of their characters, I can't stand Edge or Vickie at all.
But I can't help but respect them a bit for the amount of heat they generate.

exactly. i mean not a lot of people like john cena, but you have to respect him. he can draw a crowed. make them react. sell merchandise liek there is no tomorrow, and he does give it everything in his matches, and to his fans.
as a wrestler, and his abilites to wrestle right now, may be not, maybe hes a bit stale, but as a person, he gives it 100%, and thats all you can ask for.
