The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

I havent watched www for 6+ months now. Will royal rumble be worth the watch?

I normally make the effort to watch it and wrestlemania.

Is undertaker back?

No sign of taker yet, though unfortunately he's at the stage where he can only work a couple of shows a year now. So, basically wrestlemania. Looking like it will be him Vs Trips again.

Rumble card currently has CM Punk Vs Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Title, with Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim General Manager of Monday Night RAW, John Laurinaitis as special guest ref. And it looks like it will be a belter.

Cena Vs Kane. Eh. Will probably be terrible.

Daniel Bryan Vs Mark Henry Vs Big Show in a cage for the WHC. Bryan is the current champ is doing an amazing slow heel turn. He started off cashing in MitB on the face Big Show:

And then he's defended it several times and given great promos:

Then duing the Bryan Show rematch, Henry was at ringside.

After every match he xelebrates like he won a match at Wrestlemania, its awesome! And then finally, in a no DQ match between Bryan and Show, again for the title, and with Bryan's new girlfriend AJ at ringside, this happened:

Setting Daniel up for some more amazing promos against the Big Show:

Yes, lots of videos, but he's getting such an awesome slow burn. He feels that he is completely in the right, and that makes the perfect heel. 'She told me she loves me. And I appreciate that.'

And in other news, Evan Bourne is an idiot. Seriously, failing a wellness test while tag champ, complaining about it, coming back to WWE and then failing it again! I'm suprised they didn't just release him for that. Still, it explains why they lost the belts at a house show, then had Bourne get completely squashed on Raw too.

So is Kane trying to unleash the darkside of Cena? make him more powerful/stronger so to speak.

Something like that. He's trying to make him 'embrace the hate' from all the cena haters out there. Which is probably a way to turn him heel, except they won't do that because of all the merch sales. So it'll probably just make a pretty bad feud.

In unrelated news
Missed that because it was on superstars, but it made me laugh. Wonder who set it up, possibly Bryan :D

I'm really hoping that it won't be Triple H vs Taker at Wrestlemania again. Triple H's ego really does no know bounds, but even that is taking it a bit far.

Read some interesting thoughts on Jericho vs Taker at Wrestlemania which might be cool. Never gonna happen though.

I'm in the other camp, after Taker having to be carried out last year his legacy deserves a comprehensive victory over Triple H this year hopefully ending Triple H's in ring career (not because he sucks or anything but that's the only legitimate reason for a rematch)

Must be Takers last match at Westlemania surely?

As much as I hate to see it, he is getting on a bit, i certainly dont want to see him end up like Rick Flair (still trying and failing at the end of his WWE career, an old man that really should know when enough is enough)

Based on early talk, here’s what looks to be the tentative card for WrestleMania 28 so far:

* The Rock vs. John Cena

WWE Title Match
* CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

* Triple H vs. The Undertaker

* Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal

* World Heavyweight Title Match

* Money in the Bank Ladder Match

* Divas Match

Doesn't look a bad card (not too sure where the Big Show match has come from though), I'd like to see Bryan v Orton for the World Title

I've been liking some ideas that people have been coming up with around the net with this stipulation that anybody can enter the rumble... including current champions. Someone came up with either punk or bryan winning the rumble then the belts get unified again at wrestlemania. Highly unlikely to happen but it would be awesome! :p

Me too but it's looking like it's going to happen, don't care if they bolt on the career vs streak again either I'm not interested in seeing them face off for a third time.
