The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Haha it's funny to watch that.

20:20, looks like Austin didn't actually kick him then. I remember watching that match, found it pretty boring!

Man i fogtot how ripped Brock was, looks a bit fat these days, be interesting to see how he trains now
I thought that when I first saw him with UFC. Think he had to loose some weight for it.

Could spend days watching these old matches!

I used to love Goldberg when I watched WCW back in the day. Shame his last match was a total non-event but the dude was a machine.

His streak was totally brilliant at the time.

I love it when they botch something. Randy Orton missing an RKO then getitng up and doing it again was funny as hell!

Whats funnier is JR and Jerry completely ignoring the botch but calling it when he hits the RKO. :D

Realistically, its Jericho who botches in that clip.

whatching it again and you're right, its Y2J's fault.

JR is just such a good commentator, he may not be as good as he used to be, but his reactions and enthusiasm add so much to a match

Was saying that based more on the Goldberg vids, not the RKO botch :p

I can bet my house on Taker not being at mania next year.

"END OF AN ERA"

That was what the match was called. The breaking kayfabe at the end at the top of ramp also said a lot about their future.

Well I'll be sure to quote your post next year when you're proved wrong ;)

Ahem;

Jim Ross said:
I might be naive and I know that I’m out of the loop, which, BTW, isn’t a gripe, but IF Undertaker was going to retire, don’t you think that WWE would make a HUGE deal of it? Can you think of another wrestler’s retirement that would be as impactful as the Undertaker’s at this point in time? So….I am still of the mindset that Undertaker will return to the ring at the appropriate time.”

Despite speculation that The Undertaker’s match last week might have been his last, many WWE employees now believe he is able to compete in a few more matches and will almost certainly work WrestleMania XXIX. This belief is based on The Undertaker appearing less injured following his WrestleMania outing compared to the prior year’s.

;)

It's going to be difficult for the WWE to actually make people believe Taker really is retiring when the time comes!

He's been buried alive and disappeared that many times how are they going to say look guys this really is it and he's not leaving for 6 months to come back?! Having a leaving show or giving him a final leaving speech wouldn't really fit with his character.

And here is his new ring attire.
