I'ver not read the whole thread (who the hell has the time?), but i'm taking my son to our 2nd live event in Nottingham in November.
Personally i prefer to watch in on TV, you actually see more! nad it looks less fake on tv imho.
I keep ranting to the kids that its nowhere near as good as it used to be;
My faves were The Rock, Stone Cold and Kane. Kane is now a complete f*g compared to what he used to be like. His matches with Rey Mysterio are a joke. The old masked Kane would have sat in the ring and eaten him alive.....with some fava beans. Its like watching a man and 5 year old child getting it on in the ring.
Even undertaker takes a pummelling from jobbers on occasion.

Bring back the 'breaking glass' i say.
Was Stone Cold dumped cos he beat up Deborah?

btw....where is John Cena?

Look at past champs, they at least had some talent. This guy really is a dickwad!
 
oh i see. Actually his out-of-ring antics were what i remember best. Stunning anyone who got in his way etc. Smashing stuff up.

i think i remember a news story on the net that he was found stumbling down a country road drunk saying he had been abducted by aliens.
 
i must say i enjoyed SD this week, the great kahli bit was hilarious, even more so when they picked that fat woman out.

the last match was good but i wanted to see the undertaker beat big show up proper not fall back to back stage, it was cool the way he was jumping around and taking it to big show more :p he must have good night vision to get in all those positions in pitch black
 
look we all its staged entertaintment, but there will still be pockets of fans who believe its all real.

i know what you're saying mate, and there is no real argument to counter, I was just passing my opinion.
I generally agree with most people in that wwe has gone really stale recently.
I just don't particularly like this santini character, amongst others of course.
 
i watched what i think was a TNA special event last nite on bravo, only caught the first match and it was more entertaining than a whole wwe ppv, although most of the wrestlers have completly stupid names like curry man or shark boy.
 
A shameless plug for TNA but, it was the opening match in the Bound For Glory PPV. FYI there are only three stupid names, ^^ and Super Eric, behold the Prince Justice Brotherhood :rolleyes: stupid TNA :p
 
1 thing i find funny, kurt angle still has a skin head, i remember when he got it shaved off and wore a wig. he played it as being embarassing yet still has it now
