Have to say im still very impressed with the booking of the shield thus far. Easily the best thing in WWE at the moment. I keep expecting them to screw it up but they are continually looking solid.
 
Yes, the shield have been book great! So much better than the nexus were, though the nexi start was superb and un heard of.

I implore everyone to find the shield vs team hell no + kofi from this past Monday. One of the best matches on raw since the cena punk match. A golden golden match.

Just watched a documentary on wrestling in Britain in the 70s/80's

I swore I saw Finlay wrestling in it. If so, in the immortal words of Bruce Forsyth.......Didn't he do well?
 
Anyone actually tried pro wrestling? just found out theres a little show that gets put on by me every other month and they hold training sessions every sunday, ive always thought id love to try, not really sure what it entails

I did for a number of months. Eventualy work got in the way sadly but it was a blast. Hard work though. Instantly makes you appreciate what they do a whole lot more.

They really have to put bryan over at summerslam. This is the time to make bryan a true main event star. Although Orton cashing straight away does make sense I would like to see Bryan hold it for a month or so.
 
I doubt they will have that happen. Bryan holds a few wins over Orton so id imagine this is where Orton wil get his win back and then down the line Bryan will take the belt back from him. After a decent length feud between the two. I think Bryan will work a lot better chasing the belt than he will as champ. Orton as a heel again will be great and having him come out and ruin bryans big moment should be a good turn.
 
tomorrow evening for me aswell. Always really enjoy summerslam for some reason although its the forgotten one of the big 4.

Also my girlfriend made a good point that every summerslam has far better graphics done for it than any other PPV including mania.
 
That has to be one the best PPVs we has put on in the last 3 years! Only one as good if not slightly better would be punks MITB.

The christian del Rio match was

The punk brock was a war. One of the best fights I have ever seen! The story telling mix in with it was superb. That had to be a 5* match!

And the cena Bryan match was executed to perfection. The match had a full on Japan feel. The crowd were electric, Bryan is godly! Cena is the hardest worker on the planet! Even with the injury and I can't stand his character for a second! the match was technically perfect, and the story again was immense. The slapping was crazy and the finish was done to perfection. Cena took a he'll of a bump for that running knee.

Then with the streamers and confetti I was all safe in thinking Bryan has won, marking all over the place, voice going into crazy octaves, not expecting Orton! I expected him all the way until the full celebration was happening. By them I though they won't do it, blessed. Wwe did the heel turn of both of them perfectly! Yes everyone called it, but that made it even better as it made sense and wasdone so well!

Just seen some of the highlights of Summer Slam and have to say well done to WWE for putting on a great show.

Punk v Lesnar and the Cena v Bryan matches were both excellent.
 
Amazing ppv, Lenser Punk and Cena Bryan were incredible, Christian and Del Rio, all 5* matches, finally the heel turn for Orton amazing:D
