40 minutes until RAW starts, I'm actually looking forward to it for once after last night.

Edit : That video package intro to RAW was probably the best I've seen for years too, WWE is on a roll. :p

That was easily the best PPV i've seen since I started watching WWE again about 2 years ago, followed by a great Raw.

I don't usually like Del Rio matches but his WHC match with Christian was excellent, very entertaining.

Punk/Brock was one of the best matches i've ever seen, just brilliant and brutal. Cena/Bryan was also a great, great match. What happened at the end surprised me, it seems that HHH was Vince's bitch all along, was not expecting that.

From what happened on Raw it seems very much like a Bryan v The Corporation situation, and with Ziggler & Show being punished he might get some allies along the way to becoming WWE Champion again.

I wonder if Cena will return in 4-6 months time a heel? We can all live in hope :p

Watching Battleground now (I've heard bad things :p) but something that continues to bother me is The Real Americans. Constantly spouting how they hate immigrants yet Cesaro is Swiss - how has no one noticed/done anything about this? :confused:
 
It's gotten REALLY Bad of recent, BG was just terrible, their doesnt seem to be one good story and no real direction.
When did Big Show suddenly loose his "iron clad" contract that he suddenly became a B****?

ALso, does anyo know where Shamus went to?
 
I agree it does seem to have gone down hill abit recently. I think it has been since the PG turn. Maybe its just me but it seems to older wrestling generation, where just better at selling the whole thing.
 
It has nothing to do with pg. Adding swearing or blood or sultryness would make no difference when the writing is this poor. Their head writer left after summer slam, and it shows as it has gone down hill since. BG was an insult to Wwe fans. I won't buy another ppv till it turns around. And this is coming after I have bought every ppv since MITB last year.

The direction it's going in where every baby face is being made to look like hhhs bitch, all while getting no one over but himself. He is a superb preformer, but not one person has gotten over since SS. Everyone has been devalued. It's pitiful, and I'm normal their biggest defender.
 
It does have at least something to do with the PG rating, Im not saying yes bring back headshots etc, but before PG came in wwe had that edge, once wcw went downhilll before vince bought them out.

Fair enough you could say its a different era and BG sucked and the writing was poor etc, but it was too much change when the show worked as it was. Now I think its more of a show of how bad the writers have been over the years as when wcw was about, most of the stories from them vince copied over anyhow. HHH is now even more whipped then before he started in the 90s at wwf/wwe. Bet he wouldnt lose the ultimate warrior match again like that lol if it were to happen now.

I agree with the comments bout wwe atm it's become a bit of a farce since cena left for surgery. This vacant championship story line has gone on for far too long.

Don't get me started about the Big Show it was only a few months ago he was bragging about the contract, they could at least explain it rather than pretending we're all knuckleheads.
