You can't have been looking hard mate.
They are on sale at every major retailer right now.
I managed QuidCo cashback aswell as the QuidCo bonus on these.
3 for the price of 2 deals on at the moment and also 20/25% off
You can get 3 packs of the GU10s (6 bulbs) for £87 and then QuidCo cashback on top which knocks off another few quids.
The Sony MDR1000s are down to 199. They’re the Sony equivalent of the Bose QC35s. I’m really hoping the boss come down to 200. Not convinced the Sony’s are as comfortable.
How big are your ears? I found the Bose to be quite comfortable but I hear the Sony’s press against your ears more... tbh I don’t think you can walk far with those sorts of headphones without getting moisture. I probably need to hit the gym!I’ve got the MK2 of these Sony headphones. I own QC35’s as well but the Sony headphones blow the Bose away in terms of sound quality and noise cancelling performance
They are both as comfortable I find, but I tend to get less moisture (sounds nicer than sweat) on the Bose after a few hours use
The only problem you may have is some old transformers may not work with very low wattage and may need replacing. From experience spot LEDs over 8W tend to be as good at the 50 W halogens, though this does vary a bit.RE bulbs. I checked my current GU10s and they are rated at 50W. However all of these smart bulbs you lot are talking about are 5-12W. Would I not be sacrificing some serious brightness if I got some smart bulbs?

Also I returned my qc35s because the Bluetooth kept dropping when walking. Sent me loopy!!!
Oh no sorry you will be ok as GU10 doesn't use a transformer, my bad. You've lost me(growing up with my mum - neither of us know **** about DIY
). My rented apartment had a huge renovation a few years back and is very modern so hoping they aren't too old.
I will take the fact that our landlords went crazy with lights (there must be almost 50 throughout) as a good sign.
Save yourself some money and get Innr bulbs...
Am I looking in the wrong places? On the Amazon they don't seem that much cheaper? 2 pack of white are £20 compared to Hue at £25?
You'll be turning them off altogether once that sofa arrives.Ears are pretty normal, not small and not bigbut I find they fit comfortably in both of the sets cups. I find the Sony's ever so slightly softer but as I said in my previous post, I think it must be a less breathable material inside as it gets quite moist after a while
EDIT - Regarding the Hue GU10's, they are plenty bright enough for me. But then I hate overly bright main lighting, I rarely have them at full brightness. But on the odd occasion I do, it's often enough to make me want to turn it down![]()
