The Boys (Amazon Prime)

had to resort to alternative sources. Usually Prime are known to have issues for some shows and films (pisodes missing, 4k streams missing etc), but you would think by episode 4 of one of their most popular shows, they would have figured it out by now!

End of episode 2 was epic. It looks like they're gearing up for Homelander going fully berserk by the end of this season. Antony plays insanity so well. The guy deserves a proper Marvel / DC character role.

Homelander is getting more evil each week. Part way through season 2 i thought he could be redeemed, and even in the 1st episode of s3

It's weird but I sort of sympathise with him , but the writers want us to hate him so I'll go with the flow and assume they never plan to redeem him, no matter how much they tease it.

Another brutal episode! Some good twists and turns along the way too.

A-Train, you butt kissing, back stabbing scum

Homelander - getting more unhinged with each episode, no idea how they will wrap up this season.

Sex aid scene had me laughing.

However, the lab fight, only 3 Russian guards left and they decide to reveal themselves as taken compound v? Between the team, 3 guards should pose no problem!

They missed an opportunity here, there should have been a lot more guards, which is why they needed to be Supes, and we could have had Butcher go on a bit of a slo-mo killing spree.

the team ran out of ammo, thats why Butcher and Hugh went supe.

@ivrytwr3 might be best to spoiler your post, not everyone will have seen it yet.

I think they kinda do that in parts to have him " **** with the viewer as much as he ***** with the other characters etc. It plays very nicely watching it.

It's working then :D

I used to be a big Heroes fan. Skylar was the perennial bad guy, but I had a feeling they would turn him good by the end of the show. They did it in the final season (iirc).

I feel similarly about homelander. When he's bad he's really bad, but if he was good it would be a game changer for his for his character and also allow other villains to take centre stage.

Maybe in a couple more seasons.....

Be good to have some more powerful than homelander to kick his arse down a peg or two and need help from others in the 7.
Maybe Soldier Boy can be the new big bad powerful one, or he could side with the good guys and team up against the 7. Starlight, Maive, soldier boy and Boys on tempV VS Homelander, Deep, A Train and Newman?

Edit: A-Train, another one who looks like he will redeem himself every now and then, but then just becomes Homelander's lacky.

I still don't know if Edgar is bluffing or not when it comes to his relationship with Homelander, keep thinking he has an ace-in-the-hole if he ever acts on his threats but maybe it's all psychological.
