The Callisto Protocol

It is a bit steep, I got it via Steam, figured if in the rare instance it ends up being rubbish, 2hr refund window and then I can do what I did with other games, when the rubbishness is les rubbish, buy it off a key site for cheaper and activate on Steam.
I really want to play on release so may try the steam 'trial' and see how I get on, I just can't really stomach £50 for it, regardless how great it could end up being.

Might have to wait a few weeks.

I rarely do a season pass on release unless it's a too good to miss deal - normally pick up the DLC at a later date on a sale.

However £50 for game and £20 for pass, i'll wait.

Is Epic store worth the effort? I uninstalled it ages ago after realising that apart from the free games which I already had on Steam or didn't like anyway, it was basically gathering dust :p

If you set up a Turkish account, currently, yes. I just bought Control Ultimate edition and cost £2.32.

Use https://epicgamesdb.info/store/TR to check prices.

The only issue I have found is with Ubi games which need a Turkey account to pair with.

See I find the act of having new accounts, different geolocations, VPNs (for those who do that for YT Premium, Game Pass etc) just extra faff - Much rather have everything in one place and see all the stats etc through that one place (Steam!) - I had Epic store before but apart from the free games, didn't find any benefit as all other games that I had an interest in at the time were already on Steam :(

I also just got Control ultimate edition on steam sales for £8 :o

Once you have it set up you get used to it. You can have several different Epic accounts on the same machine by using Hero or Heroic launchers (one for UK and one for Turkey). You only need VPN enabled for the initial purchase and not to play the games.

I am just waiting for them to list the price on Epic although I would expect it to be a lot cheaper via a different region.

Control was free on epic twice now. Other accounts don't bother me at all. Cheaper games does :D
