Yes it looks like that's why it's grainy, unless it's just a crap camera

And I assumed you were referring to the surface rust on the brake disks, which will disappear the first time you drive it and apply the brakes after washing it..

No polishing etc but it still had a layer of wax ( hopefully still has, but you never know with turtle wax)...

Yea I know I miss a sidemarker, been too lazy to replace it...

I know :p. The halfrauds trim restorer is rubbish, do you think poorboys world natural look will restore it ?

On V40 forum they recommend using linseed oil.

Mates a car valeter (if thats even the term) and he recomended using a hair dryer on trim that was seriously faded it will bring it back and then start using a decent restorer. Or use a heat gun down low and not to close

If you are feeling brave you could go down the heatgun route.

This, makes it look new, rather than something faded with some product on it, and will stay that way for a long time.

Do use some caution at first, some plastics just melt, you should see it turning really black really quick, if you don't then give it up.
edit - just like this.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emlrb38YHgI
