3 weeks of grime y0! Right side = being cleaned :p

Just gave mine a clean, looks so nice again, still need to give it a thorough clean with claying etc, but for now it will do.

Surprising how few swirls the car has at the moment, it's held up well since the polish

Just did the main driver today. Took soooo long as its not been done in about 3 months, whoops. Sadly no before pics to compare. Still not looking bad for a 10 year old motor!

Did the scirocco yesterday then parked it up in the garage for the couple of months, will use the old golf over winter.

Just LOL at the idea of buying a newish hatchback only to 'store it' for the winter and use an old Golf.

It's a small hatchback not a Ferrari F430.

new sirocco or old ?

If its the old one i can understand, maybe he doesnt want to drive it on salty roads to avoid further rust ?

ordered me some of this over xmas:

Dodo Juice Diamond White Carnauba Hard Wax

Hopefully it arrives monday, then the zed is getting the full works!! :D

Bit of swirl removal today being as its the first decent weather we have had here for a while. Took off the wax and had this to look at :(

Gave my engine bay a quick once over, as it was pretty grubby. All the reservoirs cleaned up quite nicely and the clips for things like the headlights.

Only problem now is all the surface rust on brackets and stuff, the exhaust heatshield's seen better days too! I have a spare inlet manifold which I'll look at getting powdercoated through a friend and then repaint some of the other bits.

Not going to go too OTT but make it more presentable.

I'm in Sutton, Surrey if anyone wants to practice on mine? I have all the gear but no idea and without a garage, electricity and water point it's difficult to find a long enough break in the weather to do a complete detail :(

Guys, I'm out of shampoo, and to be honest I have never been too impressed with my Meguiars stuff, it was never suddy ! :(

So recommend me some shampoo, and a washmit please. Along with some decent microfibre clothes :)

I've been impressed with my Duragloss 901 shampoo. Lasts ages. A little bit goes a long way.

Smells gorgeous and is pretty cheap. The car always looks fantastic after a wash too.
