Will be cleaning my car this week, haven't given it a proper clean (clay/polish/wax) since May, so well overdue!!

Need to clean the interior too as the cloth has a few marks on it from messy passengers

Gonna go for a nighttime drive in a bit and also need fuel, love the reflections bouncing off the side of the car at night after a fresh wash and wax!

Going to give my car a wash on Monday if the weather is agreeable, we'll see how well the sealent from a month ago has done its job!

I hate this time of year. Cleaned yesterday and this morning after getting into work my windscreen is just full of crap already.

Windscreen is easy to clean though, just a few wipes with a damp cloth dowsed in rainx/anti fog solution and then wipe off with a dry cloth

It's during the journey at this time of year though, having to use the washers every few minutes!

Is there anything I can use to remove the appearance of stone chips on my windscreen? Some sort of liquid fillers?

should i buy a dual action polisher or a rotary?

Rotary polishers can give much better results but aren't recommended if you've never used a machine polisher before as there's a lot more risk of something going wrong

Stick with dual action

As above - DA is easier to use and control, but results can take longer to attain.

Spent hours detailing my dad's car. Day later some bloody women driver plows into the back of him at a red light, ruining my hard work (and the rear bumper). Typical!

I had my car washed by the dealers today... A clean white car looks awesome in the winter :cool:

I washed my car the other week, then drove 120miles that weekend.

I've got a fair bit of driving to do between now and the new year so I have no real motivation to wash my car. It's harder at this time of year that's for sure.

My new foam lance and magifoam arrived the other day. Thought I would give the car a quick clean and test out my new purchase on my half day. The weather was lovely by coincidence.

The drive was a nightmare to clean after! The stuff works like a dream too.
