I never have much, mainly because pressure washer then snow foam removes a lot of the **** anyway. I only need to use Deironiser for the wheels, let it dwell for 5 mins then wash off with AG Shampoo and microfibre cloth. Just need some good sealant now. But I'm getting all four wheels refurbed so will be done after that.

My dad mention he has a pressure washer.....I'm so going to pinch it :D

Can anyone suggest how to shift these marks on my roof? I've tried clay bar on them but they will not budge!

Looks like something has etched into your clear coat. You may be able to lessen them with a polish.

What are people's stance to those waterless car wash? I have got a new car and apart from sending it to hand wash, I was thinking of cleaning with some kind of waterless cleaner? Do they work? What's a good make?

I think the general thought on these is stay away.

You are rubbing dirt around which in turn can lead to swirls/scratches.

Never used one myself but when reading around it always seems to be the same respionse.

Not really ever had a strong smell come off from it... So it must be ok!

I bought mine about 18 months ago, so they may have changed the formula, but the stench of it was unbelievable, but its just run out, so im not sure if get some wolfs or ironx again.

Mine says "cherry flavour"

It smells nothing like cherry, it smells of chemical, it's toleratable but it is one of the worse if not the worst smelling product I have.

This, I got a tin this week to test it put, it's quite a big tin and will last years!

Both gave good protection even 3 months on and a blast of water got rid of all the dirt.

I use the fk1000p as a general car wax as well as on the wheels, it's a great product, gives a nice shine, good durability, cheap and comes in a big tin.

It comes in a massive tin!!! 412g it weights. It's good value for money that's for sure.

FK1000P is the 'new' collinite, hardwearing and gives a decent level of gloss. My tub of collinite lasted nigh on 5 years and thats with looking after family cars and stuff my dad used to sell.

Got my wool mitt today from Carpro. It arrived at work and the reaction from the women in the office range from "What's that?" to "someone's tupe has arrived! (goes to put on bald man's head)" to "oooooh, a nipple tickler"

I hope you didn't spend too much on that. I bought a genuine one from CYC a long time ago, it shed hairs worse than your dad so I threw it into a tree and never looked at it again. A lot of these pricey things are rather useless compared to better, cheaper ones.

Muc-Off dual sided wash mitt has been much better on my paintwork.

£15? From DW it seems to be the mutt's nuts so i thought i give it a try.

I do have some microfibre mitts that i've been using so far, they are not bad.
