Finished machine polishing today, took approximately 10 hours excluding prep etc

Unfortunately was starting to get dark by the time I finished, would have done this all before the clocks went back but kept on raining at the weekend so couldn't wash the car.

Just grab a bottle of car pro hydro 2 and once you're done washing the car just spray it all with it and pressure wash it off.. bam sealed/protected for a good few weeks.

I love the E87 130i, I was so close to getting one after having owned a 120 for years. Ended up getting a 350z in the end as I wanted something a bit different...

I never knew they'd released the lite version, that looks an awful lot quicker and easier than a coat of Sonax BSD after washing... Might have to invest!

Don't blame you for trying something different, those zed engines certainly sound raspy/fruity.

you can do that yeah, I do dry it just because I dont wanna have any unexpected water spots.

yeah! works really well.

I made a video of beading.. 2 weeks after applying which literally takes 2 minutes to do

I use Autobrite Too gloss. Similar effect but probably not as long lasting but it’s cheap and the product lasts for ages if using the lances washers tend to come with.

Thats probably it for the winter now. I'd like to get another coat of collinite on if I can, but otherwise I'll probably revert to the petrol station jetwash and quick wipe down with BSD until the spring.
