they don't seem to say what the
Ultra durable Glass / Nano / Ceramic coating applied offering 12-24 months durability with minimal maintenance required!
is ?
also
Paint cleanser applied by hand or via Dual Action machine polisher (where deemed advantageous) to prepare paintwork for protection layers
doesn't the use of a rotary show more confidence. (albeit I have done damage with a DAP)

will they assess paintwork state - for any feedback to the dealer too ?

Guys, I have just purchased a black car with a few small stone chips at the front - really nothing major .

I wanted to give it a polish this weekend so can any9ne recommend a polish that would maybe colour in the chips ?

Would a black colourfast polish work at all ?

Washed my recent purchase for the first time today (after 1200 Miles).

Well impressed with the citrus prewash in the bumper image.

Looking very nice, I'm sure the paintwork will shine after a nice polish/glaze and sealant.

Great idea on doing it with the fuel cap open, I usually just under my fuel cap first.

Quickly put a layer of project 32 gloss enhancer in the next day and it looked amazing. Loads of fallout on the paint I need to sort though and I’m out of iron X

I guess its your luck day ;)

Not for a cleanser it doesn't. There's nothing to breakdown and no need to work certain areas more than others.

I'll take a look at that stuff, but still have 4l of Sonax BSD to work through.

The beast got some rotary love this weekend. Managed to just get everything finished as the sun started to go down. Pics ready for the Gumtree Ad so I can get her sold in preparation for the new car, which is the polar opposite when it comes to size and fuel economy!

I have to say this Sonax Perfect Finish is a revelation and certainly lives up to the name. It corrects 80-90% of swirls and light scratches, leaving a stunning finish ready for sealant/wax. You only need x3 pea sized blobs for the majority of panel (E.g. door) and work it at around 900-1200-900rpm sequence over 2mins. A quick spritz over the car with Sonax BSD and she's good to go.

Also grabbed some DLUX for the exterior plastics, but that needs 24hrs to cure without any moisture/rain touching it. Meh!

Any tips on cleaning a car without an sort of pressure hose?

Rinse down with a citrus based cleaner or BH Autofoam in a pressure sprayer (works really well, although it wont be a foam).
Rinse down with water (hopefully you've got decent water pressure)
Two bucket wash with a very high quality mitt and very good shampoo
Rinse down with water
Dry with decent drying towels

find a good car wash or go to local tesco self service car wash, spray your own tang on it and use two bucket ;) do-able, not fun but do-able then pressure wash it off.
What he said.

Plenty of places have pay per use pressure washers you can use.

Recently bought a car and now I need to keep it clean, since I am a complete noob in this field I've got a couple of questions

I've got a nilfisk pressure washer, can I use it to clean the exterior?
How do I clean the interior? (seats are half-leather)
Recommendations for products?
