What is the APC of choice nowadays? I need something to help clean the door shuts/jambs.

Whilst on the topic of APC's - I do use Bilt Hamber Surfex HD diluted for the exterior however any recommendation's for a more interior driven APC?
It's just that the smell does not make me think oh I will pair it with interior plastics and upholstery.

Autofinesse Verso smells quite nice, used it on my carpet mats with a wet vac and used it on the plastics before using a dressing.

I've always used https://www.gtechniq.co.uk/shop/auto/wash-decon/w5-citrus-all-purpose-cleaner/

I'm sure there are better smelling ones out there, but the citrus smell isn't offensive, at least to me :)

I usually use Citrus in the way I use Surfex HD as an exterior pre wash.

No doubts that Citrus is capable of deep cleaning interior surfaces and fabrics however I’m looking for something which after generous use on fabrics/upholstery leaves a lingering freshness to the interior.

Might well replace my Surfex HD with your suggestion once’s it’s runs out as could not decide which brand to go for as most offer a Citrus product these days.

I use this for my interior. Works really well and leaves a lovely finish.

I go through phases with interior dressings and usually use diluted Car Pro Pearl.

Appealing that Clean Coat is a 2 in 1 - Does it have a pleasant fragrance as have used a similar product before which did.

I was looking at both Total and Verso and it seems Verso is more versatile than Total with all the same benefits.

Been wanting a Wet Vac for a while and your car mats post has me seriously considering one and did wonder if you could use other products with them as I imagine being tied into Bissel products wouldn’t be cheap over time, what dilution did you use for the wet vac?

Thanks all :)

It does have a fragrance, it's not like having an air freshener in the car but it is a clean pleasant smell.
I wasn't a fan of car Pro perl, still got about 800ml of the stuff.

I know what you mean I used a similar product and it was subtle so figured it would be similar.

Usually is my go to tyre dressing as I find it extremely durable when used neat but when used on the interior in certain light appears brown/greasy.

You can use any carpet cleaner solution, I just got some cheap 1001 stuff from the pound shop.

Bilt Hamber Surfex HD, works even when heavily diluted and can be used for everything - on wheels, as a pre wash etc

Thanks, I'll add that to the list to try (along with Gtechniq W5 APC).

I visited my detailer earlier today and he swears by Koch Chemie Green Star Universal Cleaner - has anyone got any experience of this APC?

I picked up 5L of Auto Finesse - Verso this morning from ECP.

When time permits going to go all out on the interior!

You could have had nearly 5L for free that I got a few years ago when Auto Finesse was the latest hype brand, I never thought they were anything special.

It's only taking up space in my garage.

Pfffft now you tell me… :p

I do know what you mean with the heavy on Social Media/Hype brands.

I have only used it for the interior but I have no complaints so far.. it has a nice fresh scent, foams up well and removed grease and grime at 10:1 dilution effortlessly leaving behind bare natural looking plastics.

I do however have Surfex HD and Citrus around for the heavier cleaning tasks.
