The Carlos Tevez saga - what a tool

In what way exactly, City's own investigation proved that Tevez categorically did not refuse to play, he was ready to play having already warmed up , Mancini already mid argument told Tevez to warm up..... he was already warmed up, he said he didn't need to warm up, Mancini went off on one.

he was ready to come on the pitch, Mancini wanted him to come on the pitch(so he says, we'll never know, Tevez was ready and he didn't bring him on so.....), Mancini decided to not accept that Tevez was ready then lied on camera.

What did Tevez do wrong..... he was asked to warm up...... he did, he was asked to warm up the SECOND time, he said he was ready to play....... Mancini blew up?

is that fact or opinion?

haha City won't promote youth players, and it's a stretch to call it an incredibly successful academy, spending loads of money and hoovering up every half decent kid doesn't indicate anything, especially when none of them play in any important games. You'll buy £30m players for those games.

Ok then.....

How is it a stretch? I think at last count there was something like 50 players who play in the prem/championship/league 1 all came from City. Spending loads of money? We got bought in 2008! Look back before that when we had no money, we had Barton, SWP, Richards, Sturridge and so on all coming through.

Now we have money we have bought Rekik, Suarez and so on but way before that we have had a great youth system compared with nearly every other club in England.

None of them play in important games lol seriously?, Richards/Hart aren't important now? And SWP/Barton/Ireland/Onouha weren't before them?

Hope he gets booed by the City fans if he plays and is reduced to tears. **** should be made to rot in the reserves for the way he's treated the owners, the manager, his teammates and the fans.

Can't believe he's back, especially after that recent interview where he blamed everybody besides himself, just further confirmation how much of a tool he is

Man City should just tell him to do one it's pretty obvious he's just jumping aboard the Premier League title train, I bet if they were 5th in the table and no trophies to play for he'd happily stay in Argentina playing golf.

How many appearances is it to get a league medal? I hope he falls one match short if they do win the league. :p

He's played 2 Premiership games this season so if City decide to play him they should bring him on in the last few seconds of 7 more games to run the clock down. He'd end up humiliated and without a Premiership winners medal if City win the title :D

Personally I'm a bit baffled why City didn't just accept ANY offer from any club looking to take him permanently in January. Obviously, financially, it's meaningless to them. So obviously it must simply come down to making an example of him. Which in one way I don't mind. In another way though, surely they have more important things to worry about?

I doubt Tevez will play again, regardless of all this recent stuff from Mancini. It must be hard enough dealing with Balotelli, nevermind having Tevez potentially causing the team harmony to fluctuate.

City had a fantastic youth system before the billions came flooding and IMO, without the billions, city would easily b a top 6 side if not better.

You are having a laugh ... Top 6 with that tat...

SWP pace not much more
Barton - thug not much more
Onouha - poor
Johnson - aint he a cripple
Richards - decent
Hart - decent but nothing compared to proper keepers and City really need to replace him. Forget your English bias, be honest.
Sturridge - granted, but he has blossomed at Chelsea... not while at City
Ireland - i loved him for City but since then he has lost his way

So are you telling me that bunch of misfits would be top 6 material when only 3 iirc play for a Top 6 team... 2 of which are by default given Citys cash.

Its a decent academy but its hardly Ajax and its European Champion side of the 90s or Barcelona and its stream... and thus to be a success your academy will always be an after thought.

Pizzaro is a perfect example of how and why there is no use to your academy when instant success is expected.

It is about principle, Khaldoon wasn't going to allow Kia to organize a way out for Tevez. We own him and will do the negotiating, instead Kia went and sorted out a nice deal for himself with Galliani and thats the reason we turned it down.

Hard enough dealing with Balotelli? people make him out like he cheats on his wife, beats up people in bars and so on. In reality he has done some parking offences and his bathroom got set alight.
He has had a few red cards and yellows during games but that is the ref looking for them more than Balotelli earning them imo.

Wow you talk some rubbish.

SWP, Barton and so on played for us mainly when we were ****. Still prem quality players. Johnson a cripple? yes he got a serious injury but before that he was class, would be in the England team today without the injury.

Hart needs to be replaced!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Sturridge and Ireland both did well for City whilst they were here.

Why are you comparing our academy to Ajax and Barcelona?, by your logic i should compare our academy to Oldham in which case its world class?

Pizarro was signed because all of our best prospects are on LOAN!, understand that? not at the club. Yes?

If every team had to play only players that come through their academy we would be top 2 probably.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

Also; re Hart, he's not that good, he's good, but not World Class. Said it for a while. He's not better then the other 'crop' of good young goalkeepers in the League (De Gea, The kid at Arsenal who's name I can't spell)

Hart suffers from 'Cech syndrome'

Hart is among the better keepers in the league along with scezefgasrgfsgtsrgrdthrrrrrrryyyy (arsenal bloke) Reina, Krul and Friedel.

In relation to Hart, I'd rather base my opinion on what I see, as opposed to what pundits like to tell us. Naturally, I guess.

I mean I see Hart as solid, dependable keeper but this idea he's the best keeper on the planet (or even in the league) is somewhat out of the blue for me. I've never seen anything major to suggest that. Not to say he isn't! But I've no idea what I've missed.

Then you have De Gea on the other hand who is seemingly another flop according to the media and pundits out there but from what I've seen, bar a couple of particular incidents, seems to have pulled off some pretty special saves in his short stay with United.

I don't think there is much between Hart / The Arsenal lad or De Gea. (Krul is a ~good keeper too)

Edwin has retired now, so I think the 'best' goalkeeper in the League is probably Reina at L'pool.

I think Reina is the only keeper based in England that is near the level of other European keepers.

Well you all have your own opinion but i wouldn't swap him for any keeper in the world. Has only one flaw in his game and even that is being amened and is getting better seemingly every week.
Made some truly great saves this season and did do when he was at Birmingham/last season also.

For me he is the no 1 keeper in the Prem and in the top 5 in the world.

So you're seriously saying that you'd pick him over Casillas, Cesar, Neuer, Lloris, Handanovic, Akinfeev, Adler, Stekelenburg, Buffon?

He's most certainly not the best goal keeper in the Premier League.

*** No personal insults *** All those players you mentioned are good players. You aint got a got a clue about football.

All those players are on a scale of 10, around a 7 at an average IMO. Like someone else has said, if every team in the PL only played there youth players, Man city would probably be right where they are today in the league table.

Name me another club that can easily match that youth team?

Arsenal? LOL, united? LOL, chelsea? exactly my point.

i hate city and there riches just as much as many none city fans do but at least i acknowledge that their youth system is probably one of the best in the league for the past 4+ years
