The correct way to eat a custard slice?

that custard looks far to set and cream would just takeaway from it.
But agreed what is with all the necro posts the last month or so.

Today I will be mostly eating almond croissant (if the Sainsbury's order picker can tell the difference between a miss labelled maple pecan lattice this time :().

The Dutch have a similar issue with their Tompouce, which is a bit like an inferior custard slice. Virtually impossible to eat in public. Not ideal date food.

I think the only way to eat a custard slice with any class is to slice it like a loaf of bread using a laser. It lacks the structural integrity needed to be cut with a knife.
