The Countdown Has Begun...... Fallout 3

NEVER played a fallout game before, don't have a clue what its about/like (apart from abit like oblivion with guns?) and because of the very high rated reviews im going to buy it!
 
On the ammo issue, at first it was a little tight for me (playing on normal difficulty), but after the first few hours and doing a lot of exploring im picking up more ammo than im using, glad it doesnt have any weight :)

I only ever got round to playing Fallout 1, and i loved it, one of my favourite all time games. Fallout 3 so far delivers for me, spending way too many hours on it, about 12 hours playtime and im still working my way through Megatons quests

Are you referring to a micro stutter?

Dunno about CPU but this totally rapes my GPU. I've had it hit temps of nearly 100 with the fan at 65%.

This is my card that idles at 50 so it well goes for the graphics by the throat. That's with full maxed out settings, AA and AF to full on a 4850.
 
can anyone tell me how one goes about changing the gfx settings? Mine is currently only on very high and I wanna see what it looks like with Ultra and AA on.
