Reading the Wiki page it says briefly he can search whilst the player carries on, is that the idea, do you set him to go find some ammo/food etc then he returns with it?

Did you play F1? Keeping Dogmeat alive has always been a pain in the butt.

I'll be playing a purely selfish character, so I won't have that problem :D

I remember getting all the way to the super mutants base in F1 with both dogmeat and my sidekick alive and well. As soon as i walked into the area, a mutant shot at me off screen with a laser minigun and gibbed them both instantly, fortunately my hardened power armor shrugged off the damage easily and i was able to lay fierce vengeance upon my foe.

You can't take him any further than that anhow, iirc. He gets fried by the forcefields inside the base, and (again iirc) there's no way to stop it. Been a while tho; could be wrong.

You dont need to alt tab and paste into paint?:o

Print screen puts the screenshot into the Fallout 3 directory...
 
i guess mine limited edition did not fit trough a letter box :rolleyes: have to pick it up from post. will post a picture of action figure later ;)

yes there's even a level 20 (highest level) per called "ninja" just for people like you :p

Along with a load of unarmed/mele/sneak perks along the way (silent running paralysing palm strike etc)


Also did anyone else talk that girl in mega ton out of making her book?

You get a perk called "dream crusher" enemy 50% less likely to get a crit on you :D

For some odd reason they don't for me :(, i have taken about 20 screenshots and i get the confirmation of the Screenshot212121.bmp taken

and when i go into my directory there ain't any.

So unfair :(.



Btw.....i am a mix of good and evil, i will steal of someone i killed or maybe even if there annoying. And if they really annoy me i will kill them :D

I did (well actually i just lied >.<) got the radiation perk, and then the last 2 quests seemed a bit of a bother so i talked her out of it :p

Wasn't expecting that perk + you get a discount. But she sounds so sad after you talker her out >.<
 
i'm a goody all the way so far, though i still have the option to disarm or explode the nuke. i can actually seeing me playing through this game a few times before i'm done with it, being down right evil then perhaps a sneaky ninja as above :D
 
As good as this game is make sure you save regular as others have said di not rely on auto saves. Have had many hard lockups where only task manager would unfreeze the game it just stops suddenly at times for no reason so you lose a little progress.

Love that bit where you have to put on the mask & kill everyone with the knife!!

Anyone else horribly disappointed by the figurine? I have mine sat on the desk next to my 'big daddy' and it looks rubbish - really cheap and nasty - definitely a sham! :mad: It could have looked so good as well if they'd just put a little effort into it.
