The Countdown Has Begun...... Fallout 3

tbh i wouldnt waste a perk on the explorer one, worst case scenario is you can find all the places either online or in a guide at any rate, why waste one of the few perks you can get on a resource that doesnt benefit you longterm?

I agree, but I was just wondering what would be the best in the game, being a thief with high sneak or a strong gun enthusiast :confused:
 
I've just started out as a good character, I'm wondering if I should start again as a baddie.... I've never actually played any RPG as anything other than a saint, but it looks like it might be fun in this one! Any big negatives to playing as a git?
 
Being a saint I have people throw money and gifts at me - gets very tiring I must say!

Bought fallout 3 today and when i got to the character creation bit of got lots of artifacts etc. Now i am getting them in windows...

Think my gpu may have gone to heaven? :<

There have been times I have been LOW on ammo, however, I have never run out of ammo for any particular weapon. I favour the Chinese Assault Rifle and Combat Shotgun as my general weapons, a Fisto for melee with a .44 Magnum for backup and a Sniper Rifle for long distance pwning. I search literally all the boxes, bins, closets and dead bodies and thus never have a problem.
 
I had loads of issues with ammo at the start, kept running around, but it's gotta a lot easier now later on. Currently carrying well over 1,000 10mm SMG bullets, about 200 Hunting Rifle bullets and about 100 .44's. Only bullets I have issues finding is sniper.
 
I'm loving this game, can't remember the last time something hooked me so much. Just got to the radio station and helped the brotherhood take out a behemoth mutant (i think it was called). Loving every minute of the exploring and finding new areas.

Fingers crossed they release modding tools and an expansion pack in the near future ...
 
Man this Guy mikey who was needing a purified water was annoying so got hold of a water without rad was happy to give him some but when i came back he was dead lol

Is that the guy that was sitting near the entrance to Megaton?

I gave him purified water but I have no idea what the benefit of that is :confused:
 
im guessing its just a way of getting positive karma helping the weak and feable an all that, i just let them die, but then i am full negative hehe
 
There are several of them people needing water arround the game, the only benifit to giving them water is some good karma.
