The Countdown Has Begun...... Fallout 3

I want to get into vault 87 but its heavily radiated +500 lol , i got a +40 rad power armour but even that's not good enough. Anyone get in there?
 
How to kill about 5 super mutants with just a hunting rifle and laser gun and one of them has a frackin mini gun which shreads me. The bit im on is going east after ayon or whatever bridge village NE of megaton.

Shoot the gun with VATS, it'll destroy it so he'll have to melee you.
 
Yeah did that but then he starts lobbing nades at me and then theres another one somewhere shooting at me i duno where tho cos im trying to deal with this one and obviously a melee supermutant wouldnt be the best thing to deal with 2nd.
 
Or aim for the arms, if u get a couple of good hits the drop the gun, then run back to get it which gives u a few secs to drop a jet or quantum cola to get ** ap back and go for the head shots to kill it
 
I have a question, what happens when u reach lvl 20, as im currenlty lvl 16 and havent started the 'main' quest ( talk to guy at bar for info on dad )

I was looking at my screeny in the hi-res thread and got to thinking. I bet theres stuff hidden under water! I've steered well clear of it cos it radiates you. Fell in a little while ago and realised you could swim under water :D
 
How do you get the bridge over to Rivet City to work? Does it only trigger at certain times of day, or is there a switch or something?

Is there not a com system or something nearby? , can't remember now as it worked right away for me

Yes well so did I until I fast travelled to super mart and talked to that boy and he sent me on a mission to find his dad and i emptied all that I had on the red fire ants antennas

Btw anyone done the tree man mission at oasis ? this game is good really grows on you will be the first single player game I have completed in years.
