The Crew....PS4

LOL Thruxton was always a swearathon when snap oversteer decided to turn up on those sweeping bends...

That chicane before the finish line was such a brilliant place to pass too - man I'd like to drive Thruxton in real life
What a game that was. Always remember going 2 player and driving the opposite way and trying to crash into each other at full speed, split screen gaming at its best haha
In GRID I use to play tag with a few off here and used the barriers as jumps to attempt flips :D

ps3ud0

Anyone?

i.e. does it control like DiRT 3 with the graphics of Watchdogs and the gameplay of Burnout Paradise...

handling- i wish it was as good as dirt 3  its so bad it compares to nothing I've played.

graphics- graphics have a last ten feel, the draw distance is so bad

gameplay- there could be a good game here if they sort out a few things, mainly the handling.the graphics are not great but for a map of its size its to be expected and id forgive the graphics if the handling was fixed.

also the beta has locked my ps4 up 3 times and i have now given up on it so its off my list for now.

I have, on two wheels and four....fast, wide and bumpy.

Great track

Thank you, that really gives me a much better idea of what to expect.

I don't know why they didn't just use the Watchdogs engine and driving mechanics, as long as you used the bumper cam view mode it was incredible fun driving around!! That game is still graphically the best I've seen to date.

Oh come on the handling isn't that bad, it's better than watchdogs which is atrocious.

Graphics are last gen so compare them to any late 360/PS3 driving game.

Gameplay it has a bit of everything. Street racing mainly but also some point-to-point and baja very much dirt 2 (ish) cross country feel.

Yes you can drive for over an hour end to end but it just doesn't feel like there is much point as it's not realistis enough to just drive around admiring the view, or the physics.

Saying that I still quite enjoyed it, not really sure why but I did.

oh well along as its better than watchdogs  that game wasn't a driving game ,yes it had driving but that was just a way of getting from mission to mission ! the handling needs to be a hell of a lot better as thats all your doing!!! this game needs a delay otherwise its gonna bomb bad.there are three racers out or coming out which are going to blow this game away.

To me for the little I've played it it feels like a poor Burnouts Paradise with questionable handling and one of the worst HUD/UIs I've seen in a while - its just so cluttered...

I'm not even going to start on the attempt that is a story - hoping it gets better but I feel like I've outgrown such arcade driving physics.

You said the handling is so bad it compares to nothing you have played, but you have played Watchdogs so know it's not as bad as that, which was the point I was making.

It's not trying to compete with Driveclub or PC (what's the 3rd?) because they are completely different games, they are pure racing, winner takes it.

Again I enjoyed it but don't know why, it's not great, agreed.

the point i was making was I've not played a driving game with handling that bad ;) sure gta and watchdog have worse driving mechanics but they are more than a driving game.As for the 3 games i was referring too they are drive club, forza h2,project cars all on consoles in the next month so i just can't see how a game which is worse than all the competition can be a success so therefor a delay to make it a much better more polished game will be hugely beneficial ala driveclub

Side question: In Watchdogs, what camera view did you use?

I'm an avid arcade racer (PC) having literally played every Colin McRae, DiRT, GRID, NFS and I honestly thought Watchdogs driving mechanics wasn't so bad but it COMPLETELY changed based on the camera view used.
