The Crew

Ive been enjoying it so far, but there is something about the graphics that gives me a headache after a while, motion blur (if it has it, cant remember right now) off, apart from that AA and whatever AF it has are set ingame, think mostly everything on high ingame - CCC i have everything on default, using a R9 280x, i just cant figure it out.
 
I really do wonder how different this game is in its current state compared to the beta? What was everyone moaning about? This game is seriously fantastic.

I managed to get to level 50 and snag the highly recommended cars and goodness me have they designed a brilliant system with platinum parts. Really happy with my Ford Focus (Perf/Dirt), Ford GT (Circuit) and Silverado (Raid) with all of them above 1100 spec points.

I've had no complaints yet apart from a very rare bump offline. I'm a little worried to hear they nerfed a few cars today.

9hrs on this now, just got to lvl 10 and unlocked the pvp side, finished 3rd out of 8 in my first race against other players...great fun really enjoying it.


Anyone able to help me find where I can set-up or join an existing Crew please?
 
I am enjoying it. The handling isn't amazing but it's a fun game. I plan on spending a lot of time in it just driving around doing stupid stuff with friends though. Pretty much just how I played TDU.

The beta was a significantly more unstable and buggy, I think ubisoft have done good job, but still have a little work to do with bugs ect

Thanks, yeah have figured it out now :)

Really enjoying this game, spent a couple of hours just driving around with a couple of randoms last night...unlocking the dealerships and admiring the scenery...Pikes peak is great, Vegas is cool.

found a couple of cars that are 30% off at the moment too.

I don't think the level of platinum part bears any relation to the time you get so its more likely to be a bug of some sort. there are plans to increase the level cap later in the game's life so perhaps some early code in relation to that has caused a bug somewhere. Another possibility is that the scrolling numbers animation just isn't synced very well, and happened to crash like that.

Since everyone seems to have lost interest in both of the time attacks, does anyone want to suggest a new one? Preferably without too much traffic

Got you nicely on this one but it was no where near as much effort as 'Watch The Paint,' which just such a difficult and ridiculously high speed mission. You learn key landmarks where you hit the red bin to cut through and drive in opposing traffic to make it harder for AI to calculate a turning car and hit the nitrous at the perfect time to steady your back tail from fishing as well as complete with 100% health to gain the maximum score. I can't grow tired of that one.

These perks add that little extra if you haven't looked then head to your HQ and max these out:
On A Dime (Zoe), Like A Glove (Omar), Shifting Gears (Roxanne), Redline (Vincent).
