Games not too bad especially playing with friends quite like the dirt races too! any one else get FPS drops in busy cities? I'm running on i7 4790K R9 290 16GB ram?

Yes, I get pretty big FPS drops in big cities. I thought it was because of my weak CPU but if you are getting them too then it must be the game that's at fault

Had a few goes at the ironclad dash. This run was far from perfect because of a humongous slide after the railway jump, but it will do for now:

I'll have to give that track another shot.

Anyone else tried the faction mission for the community challenge? I managed to get 18600 but that's without hitting a single object and one sloppy corner so I can't imagine I'll get better.

They fixed them a couple of days ago to actually show content. However, even though I can see 'a challenge' it's not the community challenge with the faction race.
 
For those familiar with faction missions; what happens to the virtual friend if I shutdown the game before they complete their race? EDIT: You can switch off the game and it will still carry on the race. Wohoo!

For those unfamiliar with faction missions, pro tip: SEND YOUR FRIENDS ON FACTION MISSIONS!! The game just sends a virtual version of your friend to race in real time and you collect your effortless rewards afterwards by selecting the faction mission and choosing 'See Results'. I went from 300K to 1.4Mil in about 4 plays.

I didn't realise just how broken the P spec Koenigsegg really is. The default Koenigsegg can do over 265MPH, the P spec one struggles at around 215MPH. Surely this can't be right...

Thats how it is supposed to be. If the Koenigsegg did 265mph in perf spec it would wipe the floor with all the other cars

For a car that costs a million, you would expect a bit more. My focus can hit 225MPH on the same stretch of road. I know what you are saying and I agree, but it just seems daft the way they implemented it.

Yeah, Ubisofts attempts at balance are utterly hopeless. If you look at tests people have done with fully upgraded cars, cars like the hotrod and the alfa 8C are a good 20-30s slower than some of the competition over a 4 minute time trial
 
I absolutely love my Perf Koenigsegg but you must increase the weight otherwise it's too light to hold traction at high speeds and performs worse than stock. You can hit 230mph at a push (274mph is my highest on road) but the acceleration is where it's unparalleled. Street races are a dream because you just power away after taking each corner.

In addition, I like how Ivory Tower crafted these unique attributes to each part such as extra grip/speed/braking/etc to allow you to build any car into the specific style you require. Trouble is, you need to farm multiples of high level parts.

It's details like this which allow fine tuning rather than simply getting a car to level 1299.

I'm surprised how many people drive with full assist switched on!

You can tell by the little steering wheel symbol next to their name during PvP races:
No Wheel = Full Assist
Yellow Wheel = Sport Assist
Green Wheel = HARDCORE
Red Wheel = Real Wheel (???)

Unless Ubisoft have made a U-turn on a previous statement, there will be more specs, but not all specs will be unlocked. for example, there will not be a raid spec lamborghini

Oh, I thought the wheel icons just meant that people had a wheel :P
It doesn't surprise me that people use full assists, because the wheelspin when you use nitrous in almost any car is ridiculous
 
WOW!! Has anyone given the new Circuit Spec Mini a whirl? If you thought the Ford GT was fast then wait till you take that puppy for a ride. I hit 270 mph.

Feels like I'm playing Wipeout... the radio should only allow Chemical Brothers to play in a continuous loop.

Is anyone experiencing car stuttering in cut-scenes after the latest patch? After being out of the cut-scene, everything is back to normal...this is rather irritating. There appears to be other people experiencing this and apparently it's related to the 60fps lock.
Anyone knows how to fix this (except locking it to 30fps)?
 
I find some of the missions boring and the game confusing, I enjoy just mostly driving around exploring in my Ford Focus RS, very slow car through, 130mph top speed without nitro. Should be 165mph..
