The Cryptolambo had gone to the moon... Time for Cryptolambo 2!!!

They have have a choice, they are accountable for their actions and I have legal access to any videos they have of me or my property.

I meant because there would be an error with the system, or the IT guys would have been off on that particular day rather than them just saying, no, you cant see it...

To be fair I've argued with a copper before as he pulled me over and accused me of doing something I hadn't done, I asked the guy who was in the passenger seat of his car if he saw me do it, and he said he wasn't watching so I get where @kindai is coming from, as much as I can be a dic'khead I'll hold my hands up if you catch me doing something I was, but try and drag me in for doing something I wasn't then its a different game

Faceless? This is the entire point of the forum. If you don’t want “faceless” opinions then maybe post on Facebook :p

Brown nosing gone too hard here.
I can be accused of many things I’m sure but brown nosing not really. We are all faceless, I include myself in that and a term I’ve used a few times.

He has put his hands up, he literally said he nailed the throttle ('accelerating isn't illegal!1') and blipped the throttle going around a bend that makes his illegal exhaust sound good.

He's whinging 'cause the officers didn't treat him how he thought Lambo owners should be treated, so now he is OUTRAGED and sending letters (through the post!).

Thread needs renaming to Cryptocopper gone to the moan :p

lmao

It was a strange post for sure. I know everyone is quick to blow smoke up the arse over anyone on this forum with an exotic car hence the brown nose comment.

Feels that way doesn't it.

As a faceless internet expert I think there is:
- a) more to this story that kindai isn't sharing(either showing him in a bad light or something previous he doesn't wish to share)
- b) the account of the police is overblown and they were just "doing their job"
- c) kindai getting bent out of shape about being caught being "naughty" and due to attitude is getting zero tolerance from the police.
- d) this thread is actually the truth, which if it is, shame on the police

I'm leaning towards there being an element of mystery still as all my years of being a car enthusiast in fancy cars, I've never experienced such awful treatment (but then I don't live in and around Birmingham). Even when I been pulled doing triple digits, having no front plate or even after I've just wrecked a car. So something does smell off.

Combo of loud, bright, look at me super car with a young-ish "unlikely owner" at the wheel will always get attention, especially if deemed to be driven in an "un safe" manner. Be that right or wrong.

I've never seen anyone repeat the same thing so many times in a thread before. Why are you so upset about his exhaust? lambos sound good with modified exhausts, many things in world are illegal. I bet you drive over the limit, park in the wrong places, turn-around at the wrong points etc.

majority of owners of supercars or sports cars in general like the sound of an engine so of course they'll let it out when they can.

I think you'd behave the same if you were stopped under those circumstances. It's a little weird and I'm pretty sure done due to jealously or to just make an "example" out of him, has happened multiple times and many owners have been proven correct after a fight. But you keep repeating the illegal exhaust and orange(it's yellow) lambo crap here, hopefully if you say it 12 more times someone will care?

Yeah but if I get caught I get over it :D

That's all well and good, but if you choose to do something that you know has potential consequences then you can't really complain when you get into trouble for it.

Modified exhaust systems
It’s illegal to modify the exhaust system to make a vehicle noisier after it has been ‘type approved’ (checked it meets environmental and safety standards).
The police can also take action if your vehicle’s silencer doesn’t work in the way it was designed or if you’re driving in a way that creates too much noise.

Nobody here, except the OP was present when he was pulled so all this boils down to is what he feels is acceptable behaviour on a road vs what the police feel was acceptable. As much as anyone on here may like him, his car or have met him, we won't know why the police chose to pull him unless they release footage.

My take? I know that area very well, I used to live in that town for 20 years and that Morrisons is mostly surrounded by retail and industrial units and the nearest residential area is across a busy A road. If he has blipped the throttle in that area during the day then it's definitely on the harsh side, I wouldn't be so sympathetic if he did it a residential area, such as the one his pictures were taken (Charford).

Ultimately it's the price you pay for having such a unique and stand out car, you draw attention to yourself and the rules aren't clear cut, as much as anyone can argue they should be. Hence why other forum users have been given section 59s because they've floored it from a stand still despite not exceeding the speed limit.

pretty sure you can film anything from a public road.

Is the army barracks blurred out on google street view? what about satellite view? I'm guessing no

You should look up the definition of a prohibited place within the Official Secrets Act, look at the restrictions placed around such locations and decide for yourself if taking photographs/images of a military site is a good idea or not ;)
