The Cryptolambo had gone to the moon... Time for Cryptolambo 2!!!

Out of interest, how many other cars were out there on the day?

Its a commercial testing facility, so there were some bits going on (watching the electric busses trundle around the bowl filled with headless manikins was entertaining).

But effectively, the place was to myself, so no waiting around or similar for others to finish.

Ah that’s a shame! You’ll have to let me know when you’re at Donny. I’ve only got 4 track days booked between now and the end of November

Tempted by the November no limits day, but they have always been rained off / half a day / cold as hell.

Not sure I want to spend the money on a coinflip, may have to wait until next year now.

The old esso premium was crap in the GTR, always giving knock.

But last year they reformulated it into a 99 ron, 0 ethanol and the general consensus is its pretty much the best you can buy right now.

The thing that finally got me to change was the 10p a difference in price.

Do I notice any difference? Nope not at all. Apart from its £10 a tank cheaper to fill up and feel dirty using peasant esso fuel instead of vpower.

That is a frankly terrible attitude. After all, everything is unexpected until it happens... in fact, they said the same about many industrial accidents before they happened.

The risk exists, whether you choose to accept it exists is up to you.

Considering next to me was someone having a fag asking about the car, pretty sure me taking a photo wasn't going to blow anyone up

Also, as a point of interest how far do you think "zone 2 gonna explode everyone" extends? To the public footpath? To the road? Just under the covered part of the forecourt.

Also, if you open the full sized pic up, youll also see the QR codes on the pumps themselves for people to scan to pay using the esso app. Whats the logic in that?

Lovely! Still not a fan of the front plate but not sure what else you could do really short of not having one.

In the last week ive seen upwards of a dozen fines being sent out across the various whatsapp groups, it just isnt worth taking it off at the moment.

Couple of weeks back Lamborghini Birmingham did a hospitality day.

Started with coffee and social at the dealership. We then set off down to Fawsley Hall Hotel for brunch, and Lamborghini Leicester joined us there.

After that we convoyed over to Honesberie shooting ground for an afternoon of sports clays followed by a BBQ.

It was legitimately an amazing day out with lots of really cool people and 20+ cars. The video from havisuals just landed, which I cant embed the insta version so just quick copied it over to youtube.

So car went in for a service Tuesday.

What does it cost for an oil and filter service on an Aventador at Lambo?

i.php

Is there a breakdown of that cost as the item costs for oil, filter, parts (new bolts/washers etc) can't be more than £500 I would have thought?
That is lolworthy. As Ian says surely they must provide a breakdown of costs? I would have expected close to £1000 but not that much!

~£450 in parts with dealer markup but nothing outrageous

Not cheaper to get it done at a decent specialist or trying to keep full lambo history?

Going to weigh this up for the major next year.
