Most ive ever seen was 860w, prime and furmark running at the same time, not reccomended lol.

True, i bought one of those wall plug monitoring jobs, very useful piece of kit. Incidentally, i bought the hx second hand on here, the thing was like new tbh.

Scored again mate, LinX passed without error.

Pretty pleased as the temps are very good, and my ram is running with slightly better timings.

Hi bud, cool, all l use is IBT 12 runs Standard then 6 runs High set threads to 8, and its never failed got sick of running P95 for 8 to 12 hrs, don't for get Intel designed IBT to test thier CPU'S.

just ran it again, exactly same settings as earlier to give me 1595 points

gonna rip my rad out and fit some more fans to see if it brings temps down any, then will try for a 4.5ghz 1.6v suicide run haha

well i'm back again with another little score bump

played about a bit with the ram timings

almost managed to get the bench to run at 4.4, but bsod about 60% through the final test with the video playing....maybe, just maybe, a little more playing and she'll bench at 4.4

i'm coming for you jamesgoss!! lol

though i think NeoRed you're safe enough.....for now!

cheers buddy, can't be letting you run too far ahead of me!! lol

in fairness don't know much else what to do to get her to bench at 4.4! she's struggling like hell just to get into windows at 4.4, already at 1.4vcore and 1.6vram, don't think she'll much anymore volts!

might change out my ram to the back up set i got, OCZ Special OPS 4GB, didnt cost much and can take 1.65v see if i can get her bench with those, and if they fry they fry! lol

Thinking of trying for 4.3 myself, though id say ill need a hefty jump in voltage as well, this cpu of mine is a greedy little blighter.

At anything over 4Ghz it won't do the video encoding test, I will shove some more volts through the CPU and see what we get.
Nice result though with 1595.

Yes, we need fresh blood, a few more AMD Guys or Gals, yous chaps with the i5750's are keeping the thread going atm with the odd Sandy showing a leg.

Same here. Most I have seen through my system is 500W. Not really stressing my 800W power supply but always interesting to know

this is doing my head in now, lol cant get the damn thing to bench at 4.4Ghz, tried 1.575v 1.585v, guessing i should just kick it to 1.6v but really not sure lol

finally benched 4.4Ghz at 1.6volts :O haha
nailed 1624 points hehe
might try later for 4.5Ghz and if that works, gonna try pushing for 1700 points

Damn rooms like an ice bucket haha
