Video encoding: 200 seconds with 37% average CPU usage.
Video encoding: 4097 points.
Multitasking testing: 99 seconds with 21% average CPU usage.

i7 2600k@ 4.8 16gb ram@1600 and a ssd

Bit confused here

Running a 3930 now at 4.6 with 32Gb of 1866 Ram in quad channel Win7 SP1 X64

and I'm only getting the following.

The image editing score seems very low and multitasking is down

any suggestions from the group ?? :confused:

seems abit low compared to what i got consideing what youre running but u beat my video encoding by a fair bit. how fast's your ram? and did you run it from your ssd as this benchmark benifits from fast hdd's

Multitasking score doesn't look too bad, its higher than mine but the image editing is low, did you just run the benchmark the once?

look at my score to my clock on the speed sheet.

Had another go and got the following results

Results:

Image editing: 281 seconds with 10% average CPU usage.
Image editing: 1335 points.
Video encoding: 180 seconds with 25% average CPU usage.
Video encoding: 4567 points.
Multitasking testing: 101 seconds with 14% average CPU usage.
Multitasking testing: 1843 points.
Overall score: 2582 points.

Benchmarks finished.

just realised my ssd is in ide mode

need a reinstall to swap it >.<

Nope you can change it by using the registry, Go to

1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\services\msahci
2. Modify Start on the right side to 0
3. Restart and turn on Ahci in your Bios

Hey bud. Nice choice of board (Still on my Rampage II and 990X

)

The more RAM slots you fill, the more stress you put on the CPU's integrated memory contoller and the board's memory power circuits.

Try running less RAM and tightening the timings or maybe upping the RAM speed at slacker timings. To be honest, I found memory bandwidth to matter less as rigs got newer on this benchmark. Kit fit BATTERED me on a much slower BLCK

On my 990X I ran 5ghz (200 X 25)
Ram is Corsair Dominator GT 2000MHz 7,8,7,20 2T (Epic Elpida Hyper chips)
Overall score was 2880

Remember that is triple channel, not quad like your beast

I reckon your 1866 stuff will hit 2000MHz with a few timings slackened but give the bandwidth u need.

Bloody nice rig by the way.
