I flaked out last night was a long tiring day, was a lot of fun though :D

May try again later hehe :p

Me too. Up early and out to "Hoo Farm" in shropshire for the day with wife and toddler......then I just got back home and checked in here....BLOODY HELL you boys were up late last night :D Thas dedication to the cause :D

Think its good people are discussing their set ups in more detail and posting pics - will definitely give everyone a better idea of how clocks and scores are being achieved :) I'll bang full specs and a pic up later (once got the nipper off to sleep. ....Wife is out tonight so I feel another benching session coming on.)

This is blossoming into an excellent (and more to the point FRIENDLY, thread :))

To be honest, I'm just glad my chip made it through the night after that last run :p

Afters AndyOcUK, you missed all the fun setter, JeffyB, 1 or 2 others and me had a cracking time, l just stayed up and l've just had a cat nap. Well people whos up for tonight round 2 and no flaking out, lol. :) ;)

I am glad this thread has turnt out to b a good friendly oc battle I'm not at my PC at the mo but I've stressed @4.9 for half hour but bottled it as temps were about 83ish hmm I wonder if if I got a custom water loop if I could keep my temps much lower, I have also been thinking although this benchmark is good I was thinking of droping custom PC an email see if there's any plan on getting it updated to incorporate newer hardware

Yep....turned out a cracker this thread has :) custom water is my preferred tipple and will drop your temps over air by as much as 20 degrees at stupid over clocks.

I'm still tweaking my settings (and air conditioning), may even go back to an old bios that I know is good for 5.4ghz ;)

DO IT!!! :D

Nice one Tekgun, at least your having ago, my sons got the Q9550 and its a smashing chip with a 5770 latched on, Yer then Sandys can fly look at the top to scores 27000 +, mind blowing. ;)

Yeah, nice one tekgun -this is a friendly thread full of help and banter - there'll be no flaming for older chips - it makes for a much more interesing thread when a good mixed bunch of newer and older chips are involved - your post has reminded me of how much I enjoyed my Q6600 (G0) - got to 4GHz on that on a Striker II extreme :D

I do have to say though, OLDPHART, that one of the 2 top scores is an i7 :D

(sorry - couldn't resist ;))
