Ok, got to the bit where it's multi tasking and that dudes on his bike and the system locked up, no BSOD, will up vcore slightly and run in the cold light of morning

Running at 5350mhz, so about 250mhz more than my #2 placed run

Come on dave_beast, get that 1st place m8 its calling out your name, this has turned out into a cracking thread.

Its a pity the AMD guys don't put up a few more runs. Its all just good fun at the end of the day the Sandys are kicking the 920's into orbit but that does not bother me. JeffyB, setter and me are having abit of a laugh between use.

My 920 is crying out for mercy, is it thumbs up or thumbs down.

My 920 is crying out for better cooling, id say im on the limit with my current air cooling. (4.2ghz, prolimatech super mega and dual akasa vipers). It was oldphart who gave me the incentive to go a bit higher. (thank you sir), with the post about life in the ol 920's yet. Growing to love my ol system even more now, 4.2ghz cpu, pair of gpu's that will run 800/1600/1674, it breezes through any game im playing. Who needs sandybridge.

I'm just dissapointed it wasn't more, i tried so dam hard, and had lock ups at 99% on the bike video bit several times, made me so annoyed lol! But i kept with it, 3 points lol not a lot but hey its been a lot of fun, bet that ud5 can pwn that easily

Your welcome setter, what did you think about just cooling your CPU 1st with a custom loop and do add the 470's one at a time.

Monies abit tight here as well would love a 2nd 470.

As i said before jeffyb, im primarily a gamer. At 4ghz, (20x200 bclk). My i7 was serious overkill for games i play. Mainly bfbc2, but when running sli, like tesco say, every little helps. I normally run my 470's at stock, (gigabyte 630mhz oc's), but theyll do 750mhz on stock voltage. Had them game/bench stable at 800/1600/1674 on 1.012v, but its pointless, as even at stock they blitz any game i play at 1920x1200.

I run mine at 3.7ghz 24/7, silent with rediculously low volts and i don't get any more fps at higher cpu mhz anyway and game heavily. Nice to push the loop for fun

Could be an option mate. The only watercooling parts i currently own is, 10 x bitspower silver diamond 1/2" g/14 barbs and 4 metres of masterkleer 7/16" tubing. Id have to buy a lot of other bits, and get my case cut for a radiator, (lian li a70f). Work is very bad at the minute, not sure if ill even have a job to go to on monday tbh.

The 470 is a cracking card, l think if l remember rightly my 1st Nvidia card in about 10yrs l think, even by its self 920 at 4.0GHz does very well for its self.
