Thats convenient isnt it, just 1 week before they were due to show "actual gameplay footage" this crops up and now they say that they cant show the footage until its sorted out and now the title no longer exists on Steam

Saw this news pop on twitter, hardly a surprise, will keep watching just cause even if this goes the way most of us are expecting now its fun to watch a train crash.

And you never know maybe it will turn out good......... or maybe its all a big lie

True 'dat

They were even dumber than we first thought.

Might re-awaken Ubisoft's budget to get the Division series back on its feet though :)

never forget

*shinny Division E3 vid"

To be fair that was the trend at the time, super shinny trailer with over reaching. They were all doing it sony, EA all of them but Ubisoft had it mastered that year with division and watchdogs.

Difference was Division was a good game that lacked some of the super high polish those trailers showed, it wasn't an ugly game by any measure, it wasn't quite as pretty as a pre-done vertical slice, it also didn't have super cringe "players" talking over the trailer, another thing Ubisoft mastered around then. Watchdogs was a much bigger let down.

This however is looking increasingly fake in every aspect.

Its strange how trailers have swung, first Halo Infinite trailer being a good counter point, they showed it raw, and the masses turned on them, delaying the game (probally for the better), few years back that trailer would have had more post processing than a typical MCU movie.

Scam, should have learned from World War Z or whatever that Day Z clone was. Release it as alpha/beta with payment for access and then pull the plug and run.
TBF, WarZ was a fully functioning game on release (albeit an Alpha but everything is ;) ) , it was just utterly ruined by hackers which the devs didn't give a crap about, swear they were also maintaining a sideline selling hacks for their own game to this day.

There was no pay for access though, just bought the game and played. Did have to rent servers however.

Just went down a nostalgia trip reading the warz thread from 2012 onwards here - https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/infestation-survivor-stories.18424629/ shoutout to @Carl-Brit my weapon trade/scammer buddy doing dodgy trades outside the safe zones :D

I assume the "trademark issue" is resolved now or they wouldnt have been able to use The Day Before name in the video, they'd have to have cut the name part
