I think its most likely the current is / was stronger than the experts imagined and she has been carried out to sea or the red van has something to do with it.

Also funny how the dog won't go near the bf.

Bf said he put the dog in the car that morning but the doorbell footage shows she put the dog in the car
 
Is it the same dog, or a doppelganger? Could Colonel Mustard have been paid to do a dirty (but professionally enacted and successful) deed? How much longer will the media thrash this before public apathy and a new conundrum arrive?

I suspect that might play a part in it.

The current of even a small stream can vary a lot in a very short space of time so unless you've got data from very close to the time frame and location it could be well outside of what is assumed based on readings at other points or times (knowing the average for this time of year won't help much as the body could be well past the bounds of that average).
 
Let's say she was abducted and still alive, if the abductor drowns and dumps her along the river or shoreline would we ever know?
