The Division 2 - March 2019

I played the closed beta.

I found the preload button now and now its allocating disk space, I will see if it downloads this new beta as a new game for the full 60 gigs or just the smaller amount.

The allocating seems to be taking too long for 14 gig tho.

It is 13.56gig so its just the patch. Ok going bed since my new hdd is arriving tomorrow from ocuk, and I definitely cannot stay all day when I been up all night.

Won't get a look in till later this afternoon either. Although i can't imagine it being vastly different to the technical test.

Load this up with my Vega56 (and LG in sig) and although Freesync was obviously working (with HDR) it was really really choppy like it wasn't working (75-90fps on Medium). Gonna slip my Ti in and see if that handles it ok.

@LtMatt might be interested, with it being a touted AMD game. Just a heads-up.

Feels absolutely brilliant, only done one mission and a bit of free roam.

But who in all things glory thought it would be a good idea for double click to be a thing??????? It's beyond annoying.

Running everything absolutely max at 1440p, EVGA 2080 ti XC Ultra (2.1Ghz core & 8Ghz mem OC), 8700k @ 5.0Ghz, installed on SSD and it's averaging around 100fps.

@Drollic That used to be a bug in TD1 when using DX12. Try setting DX11, then fullscreen, then back to DX12. Or just leave it running in DX11 ;)

Fixed.

For those experiencing black screen on boot with alt + tab crashing the game.

  • Go to: C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Tom Clancy's The Division 2
  • Open the State file
  • Under graphics = { change dx12 = true,

Upon reload you should find the game is full screen with everything displayed correctly.

LOL can't even play the open beta - as I only own games through steam on Uplay it won't show the store tab (retarded) usually if I open and close it a few times it will eventually show it but not today. The technical test won't convert to the open beta as it supposedly should and if I try to add the open beta from their website it just asks me for a product key.

EDIT: LOL went to this link https://register.ubisoft.com/thedivision2/en-GB?platform=PC and immediately on clicking it the technical test converted to the open beta :( why doing essentially the same thing through their store page doesn't work I dunno.

EDIT2: Still can't get into the game - the movement just kills the ability to immerse myself in the game so quickly.
