D3 isn't just tanky, it is also stupidly powerful for damage :D

Stack preferably headshot damage followed by crit damage and make sure you have savage gloves, even with my crap gear/rolls and only 84k skill, the thing just melts people, when crit registers and headshots, the bullet hits for 80/90k

Got a shield 4% damage resilience mod for every slot last night so the shield should stay up for a very long time now.

Also saw a decent AUG at one of the vendors last night too, 1k less damage than my current one but it has deadly instead of competent so I reckon that might suit the build better...

Beastly, gimme a nudge when you are on later. I wanna try tanky D3 now!
 
Pffft 80k to 90k damage per bullets pfffft what a noob. Doing 140k per bullet with strikers and sentry call. Only softies need shields ;)

That is without any good attachments and low skill power ;) Unfortunately I can't use any of the attachments from my LVOA and don't have d3 knee pads in order to be able to switch to my spec. backpack :(

Of course, it won't be doing as much DPS as strikers with a stack but it is more the damage you can take (or should I say don't take :p) whilst dealing an incredible amount to them, you can get right in their faces and land every single shot in the head (I only have a silencer with 6% headshot damage atm, need to get one with 17+% as well as a scope with something higher than 5%), which is what makes it so good, as mario said, you could go toe to toe with the shield guy and win with ease.

Also, need to get some under barrel attachments with 40+% optimal range, this will make the SMG as effective as an assault rifle at range.

It will definitely get a big nerf, at least the assault shield will

I wouldn't be surprised if they remove the accuracy + stability bonus for SMGs with d3 builds as it doesn't make any sense how this increases when using the gun with one hand....

you dont need savage gloves with D3 as 4 set eliminates CHC completely

I googled that last night, you are right about crit chance for everything else such as weapon attachments, talents etc. but the savage doesn't personally apply to you/us, it applies to the enemies i.e. the enemies resistance to crit chance reduces or something like that.
 
Grr this game keeps crasing every 20mins or so!

This is my pc components:

  • 2x 980gtx sli
  • 64gb ddr4 ram
  • Intel i7 5820k 3.3ghz
  • Windows 10 OS
  • NVIDIA DRIVERS 376.33

Any ideas?
 
If you watch the skill up video he explains it, WE cant have any crit chance, but the mobs can be debuffed so we can crit them, savage gloves, pulse all work.

Im not watching any of those so called "big" tubers and not doing builds everybody does by watching them,i have enough hours in this game to make a build which works for me.
Fact is savage is pointless on this build,1% here or 2% there makes very little diff,there are better stats to have than some few % of chc,if you could have 15-20 then its another story.Now Spec backpack with ~200k electr would be much better choice for shield.
Each to they own i guess.
 
Got a decent pair of D3 gloves now and swapped out for a spec backpack and working well. Slightly less damage per bullet but quick Sig refills.

Ohhh and got my 3rd Barretts chest piece from a Field prof crate :D

I got the showstopper last night from a Lexi run.

Minor tweaks and adjustments again from the kit, nothing notable except a decent roll on a Robust chest.
