*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

Just hit 30 on this, finally seeing that orange loot :D

done the daily missions, glad they added daily stuff.. will keep me coming back
one thing though, if i do a daily mission on challenging mode does it count? or does it have to be "hard" mode?

Dailies do have to be done on hard mode but the loot is still good, though if you do the underground daily on challenging it classes the hard mode done as well. Not sure why the regular missions aren't like that.

Oh Hi there!

Wanted to organise two events for 14th and 15th of January.
14th - http://challonge.com/survivalOCUK - Survival PVE High score!
15th - http://challonge.com/DZPVP - DZ 1v1

All information is within the links :)

The survival one is the first of a few ideas, some of which include speedruns, battle royal for PVP Survival etc

See you in the darkzone!

I really wish we could have the option to select Heroic for all missions instead of just challenging.

Same, hope they bring it back one day as challenging on regular missions is to easy once you get geared up.

Even doing warrengate solo on challengeing I can down all the NPC'S and open the valves with 5 mins remaining. And using tac link and water for the end boss I have manged to down all three in well under a min.

That to me is far to easy, in 1.3 doing that solo on heroic was far more enjoyable due to the ridiculous difficulty and never knowing if the next NPC would be the one to kill you.

As it is now I can just face tank them all and it shouldn't be like that.

Just bought this game after the free trail so im still new at it and ive just entered the dark Zone for the 1st time because apparently some loot has fallen, but the enemies are rock hard they just killing me with one shot. Are these AI or are these guys playing online that are killing me ??

Easy way to tell is by the colour of their health bar, red = player (rogue) or weak npc, white = player non rogue, purple veteran npc, yellow elite npc. You can also tell by the death report you get when your downed. It will be very hard in there if your new to the game, depending especially on which part of the DZ you enter, what level/gear score are you?.

Im level 10 very low only had 6 hours game time

If I were you, I would treat DZ as end game. I.e. get to level 30 and play through the other content first before you try DZ. It can will be very brutal at first for a solo player, as the majority of other players are min-maxed and will shoot on sight.

just got tier 2 and had to do one of the dailies on challenge mode.. queens tunnel, wasnt too bad until i got to the end part.. took me like 15-20 attempts to finish it

dont think i will both with challenge mode ones again unless i can get a team, reward wasnt worth the time it took to finish

Solo challenge mode will honestly be one of the only ways you can eek anymore enjoyment out of the same 3/4 missions by the time you've got a good 256 build going. It becomes a lot easier with the right kit as the enemy scaling for team size drops the enemies HP through the floor.

yeah im thinking it was just that mission tbh, on the last part you have enemies coming from all directions so finding good cover is tricky

I played a fair few pvp survivals few weeks back, only time I ever saw other players was right from the get go, frantically trying to stay warm and looking carelessly for low end loot. Once people get kitted out later game, you just don't see anyone as people then are far more careful taking time around the DZ.
