It is quite self learning but basically the better gear you have, the easier it is. Plenty of guides out there if you need it but take your time and do all the side missions as well as the main story

You build up your skills by upgrading your base. Your character attributes are based upon the gear you're wearing.
If you find a mission difficult do some matchmaking with others. I find this easier.
Get yourself on discord and team up.

Also got a rather nice lightweight m4, better than my last LVOA:
Both have competent for the 3rd slot, can't remember what the second slots are, iirc it is brutal for the LVOA and unforgiving for the lightweight m4 atm.... I am trying to roll to destructive instead.

Haha, I had 2 more which I could share and did so. Just tried doing CS Heroic and massive fail. A level 25 in the group didn't help and died every time he popped his head up
I like a challenge but he should have at least stuck to challenge

How is it possible for a level 25 to do Cs? It doesn't unlock till wt2, unless someone invited him after mission start?

Yer, I thought the same but he was there. I should have recorded for the lols but that would have been harsh.
I have seen a few other people report the same, but in the DZ! So strange lol I would assume they are being invited by friends but the DZ should separate them out based on GS.
Will hopefully get on tonight for a few games. Tried to get on yesterday for an hour but there was too much going on, and then I drank too much lol
If I use dx12 the game runs silky smooth but I can't run it full screen. I've had a look around the forums and DX12 was buggy and most advise to switch back to DX11. The problem with DX11 is I get lockups and mass slowdown which can result in death.
Anyone know of a fix or is it just my rig ?

You try turning of one of the cpu cores? It a know issue since 1.5 it max's out your cpu and cause freezing
