And to add, I think I just burnt myself out and needed an excuse to give it a break. Nice to visit some of my other games as well :)

1.6.1 is the most balanced this game has been in a long time for pve and pvp but with that, they have abandoned their roots and the ip they dreamt to be Imo.

but, on a positive note, they now have a solid base to build upon for year 2 and considering we don't know whata coming, its stupid to formulate an opinion on what we will or will not have hence I'm not until I officially here what the plan is. They need to move quicker though, the impatience showing within communities is growing, even within our own and regardless of the fun we stil have on it.

as for seeing us elsewhere? Destiny 2 hype is real at the moment so you can count on that ;)

I'm still enjoying it, but am feeling a touch jaded myself of late, but I must say that playing with the OcUK Discord guys is the main draw for me atm. We have a good craic :)

We're all looking forward to Destiny 2, hope you'll join us ;)
 
I've had break of 3-4 weeks from playing I can honestly say that coming back, I've totally missed it! I'm back into sinking an entire evening/weekend into playing and I love it. The PvE experience is somewhat boring but loving LS at the moment and we've had some great runs on Legendary recently. I see your point @TheF34RChannel and we've all been there.

there is an option in the graphics settings for that, vignette effect I think its called?

for the console,I have no idea tbh, don't know if it exists in this game :-/

Is it when you aim? i had that but i'm guessing it's not this you are on about because you would know what it was lol. But DOF? Depth of field? I disabled it because when aiming i couldn't see people other than down my sights so some one peaking round a corner i could miss. Or if i opened my settings for example the whole background is blured out. disabling DOF fixed that.

Yeah looks good! :) And legendaries - nooo bother! haha Its epic how quick we are doing it now.

Have had some awful runs in the past but it just comes down to practice, good builds and comms.
 
Had an interesting weekend.

I'm still logging in every couple of days and running a mission or two. Over the weekend they had my favourite three as the dailies - Lex (Hard), Hudson (Hard) and Lincoln (Challenging), and while I prefer Lex or Hudson on Challenging it was the first time in a long time that I'd completed all 3 dailies. Had fun with all 3, using my all HE build with a Lightweight M4.

On Saturday, Lex was the Challenging daily so I completed it. Left Lorrae to the end, killed her off and the exotic colour bar shot up into the sky. I've yet to get a Barrett's Chest, so I thought finally I had one. I walked up and it was a Showstopper. Never have I felt so deflated...although my first Showstopper so I can't complain.

Also on Saturday I decided to go into DZ7-9. First time since last June that I'd been into the DZ. I was checking it out, having a great old time fighting gold and purple mobs in a new area of the city, liking the areas I was in. I'd been in there for about 30 mins, happily minding my own business and killing NPCs. Hadn't seen another player the whole time, until I heard a different gun sound and started taking hits. I knew it wasn't the mob I was fighting or another NPC mob, so I tried to take evasive action but was caught in an awkward position and didn't take long to go down (my character is 100% PvE orientated). Had to have a laugh...shot in the back by the first player that saw me, he must have been desperate for some PvP, we were about the only players in DZ 7-9.

Ahaha yeah! Dz 7-9 is a ghost town most of the time, most PVP happens on the lower levels still.

If you are after exotics, heroic incursions and legendaries give exotic caches as the weekly reward - so thats 6 per week ( I dont count stolen signal as I dont like it) Then if you do the weekly assignment and survival thats 7 exotic caches - per week - per character.

The incursions and legendaries are getting easier, we got through them all minus one in one night, should pop on discord and come with sometime :) Im still playing most nights.
 
Been a few months since i played this now but getting the itch to play again so might give it a go tonight

any noticeable changes since 1.6 was released? or is it nothing until 1.7?
