*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

Any reason for me to dive back in this? I bought it on release and I completed single player, did a bit of DZ stuff but got quickly tired of cheaters. Haven't played it in a long time.

Surely they mean -50% revive time?

They do mean that, I clearly typed the wrong thing haha sorry. I will correct this later :)

If you haven't played much before then its fun now :) loads of things to do, seldom see cheaters.

I did say this wasn't new content....so I don't know why you are surprised

1.8 is the content drop so my advice would be to wait till then to test it

So the current patch right now is " re engagement"

Its mainly based around new and unique ways to do the same content with the addition of cool vanity, different gear etc as well as some major bug fixing.

If you are looking for content - I wouldn't suggest playing this patch even though it is very refreshing.

1.8 is meant to be the big content drop and so far ETF members have been crop dusting over these topics:
  • Survival/UG/LS expansions for new modes - connected to this massive accidentally released a commendation in the PTS stating world tier 10 and UG level 10 along with 10 directives....mental ****
  • Missions and possible incursions
  • Central Park as it is actively being developed and made graphically - wall glitchers found it lol

Yeah got that mixed up ha ha! Thanks for the clarification once more.

# More missions: this I'd like very much as it gives me purpose in the game.
# Central Park: that'd be open world or DZ?
# Tier 10: they must be careful not to repeat 1.3, although there are plenty of ways to prevent that, I realise.
# If one wants the classified gear quickly I suppose it's best to play 1.7.

I was elated to see that my trusty PM build still ripped everything to bits :) I didn't try out anything else, mainly because they are built for group play and I was alone.

What's up with the vendors?? Back to all 207 purples and 1 256 item? Annoying. Don't think there's anything worth buying right now, though.

I've yet to get an urban mdr, that's my division bucket list item!

Regarding central park not 100% sure, I know people who explored out the map saw it partially constructed for want of better words.

The vendors were always like that since they introduced HE's to them.

No idea about central park in terms of purpose. Just that it has been developed, there is graphical work been done, environment etc.

Also the new DZ has doors to central park that are signposted as well. Lots of rumours but hopefully the two things are connected

Is Central Park going to be added at some point, or was that idea scrapped?

See above :)

MDR has a chance to drop in every single challenge mode mission but the highest chance is exotic caches and survival caches.

Just so everyone knows, the GE leaderboard drops the masks.

Tier 1 = 1 mask
Tier 2 = 2 masks
Tier 3 = 3 masks

There is other vanity with it as well.

The leaderboard is based on your best hour in terms of GE tokens earned.

How so? I can run Hudson challening easy enough. That nets me a good few fairly quickly. Doing Named bosses in the LZ is quick too.

The way the leaderboards work currently is GE earned per hour, but its a running timer.

So if you were to start a GE farm run, the timer would start for you as soon as you pick up the first GE tokens, and it reviews it on an hourly basis.

So I ended Hudson and as soon as I picked up the credits, I restarted. Instant 750 for the reward + 75 per boss. Rinse and repeat lol

You could easily switch out the initial Hudson for a legendary and that is 1575+ for the start of the hour

I'm a noob when it comes to DeadEye, having never used it. Now, 2 pieces off of having the full 6 piece set I can't help but wonder how to spec the set properly (for PvE) in 1.7, what weapons to use with what talents and mods, which skills and skill talents (tab). I'll look up some stuff but ideas are welcome!

Incidentally, I'm 1 piece off of having the full 6 piece final measure set. I think I'll spec it as I did my 1.6 version: tanky.

Noob question time.... I went to the DZ and went in the underground but my mask is no longer good enough to stop me dieing. What am I missing please?

So if you absolutely whore GE applicable missions/incursions/HVT's for one hour, your best hourly score counts?
