*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

So far only opened 9 superior caches from the GE stuff - not really played it that hardcore - seen quite a bit of moaning on the forums about the RND with it but I've got almost complete Reclaimers, Sentry's call and Strikers classified sets (missing 1 or 2 pieces from each though) and for some really random reason 2x Historian one with good stats the other with great stats heh.

EDIT: Spent the last 4 hours of the GE "speed running" Amherst apartment over and over :( at around 3 minutes 10 seconds a pop just under 5000 GE credits an hour :s didn't get that much aside from Ferro's oxygen mask. Probably faster ways to do it but it was pretty much easy mode solo.

RNGesus hated me during the GE - from 5 Superior caches I received 2 striker classifieds and no exotics...the rest was typical set piece junk...

I did enjoy the GE event though, used a shotgun more than I have in a long time!

Cheers

RNG in these events are a bit mental. I opened 185 superior caches overall, and whilst I finished all three sets with fairly min max stats and had almost 14 of the same gearset item for a lot of pieces - I had 1 sentry backpack the whole time lol!

I have 2 reclaimer builds which are great for incursions. Mass healing with this one but bugger all in the damage specs. All geared for healing with skill haste mods. I have a ton amount of Exotic Caches, which I will open when 1.8 drops. About 10 weekly caches as well.

That's the only thing I hate about Healer builds, no bite!! I made a 7k Elec HE/Exo build based around Skulls which is a semi-healer build (with a wide station) and really like it due to the fact that at 5k FA the Skulls combo still gives it some power

Yer, I only use it for Legendary or incursions, so hopefully have some glass cannons with me.

Working on a glass cannon build but still got some ways to go - 9.6K firearms but +38% damage to elites plus decent headshot damage bonuses so its something like 1.5+m DPS when hitting those headshots.

I would always advise running health on kneepads and backpack instead of skill power, will give around 300k toughness which most damage dealing hybrid people have. Like in PVP I don't spec stamina but always health on those two items.

Then haste everywhere + gloves/chest/holster like you have done. :) Just a tip, and will still give 25.5k healing per tick on the station without rate mods so lots of flexibility.

Haste is king!

For weapon talents, competent, talented + free slot would work perfectly on builds with no FA/Stam

gonna wait till 1.8 is fully launched before diving back in.

I haven't played since 1.5 so I have a lot of catching up to do so it seems.

I really thought I was done with this game but with the changes in 1.8 I'm excited again

Thanks for the tip :)

Had a go at survival - strangely a little addictive but needs way too much investment in time to really do it well and a bit more work by the developers really to be properly enjoyable. Was the last one left alive but only made it to about 20 minutes before running into a huge group of enemy.

Survival is great, I was doing it a few times a day at one point. It normally takes me ~50 minutes to complete.

Anytime I do survival I always do PVP now and aim to clear the whole DZ and try to be the last man standing. So much fun. Still do it twice a week

Don't think I'll be bothering with PVP - when I've grouped with other players or done survival half the other players I've encountered warp like crazy and things get a little funky at times like far more instances of teleporting AI and delayed heals, etc.

Server/networking performance of the game seems quite impacted since the assault GE started onwards.

Rroff! You've gone from new player to tier 5 in a little more than a few weeks, surely you're already investing enough time in the game :p how many hours you been playing it for lol

My regret is not reaching level 99 on undergroud, it's absolutely dead.

40 is max level for underground currently - I've not had too much trouble finding people to play it with.

Survival is another matter though - you really need to sit down and clear any other distraction - with much of the rest of the game I can play in bursts around other things, etc.
