Funny you should mention that because I'm now at level 44 with my guy and there seems to be times were it stops for about 10-15 secs and then it continues on again and for some reason ANYTIME I go near deep water or have to swim the entire PS3 freezes and I have to hard reset, every time, I don't understand it. This only happens with Skyrim so I know its not my PS3.
 
The water crashing bug requires you to delete all your game data, including updates. And redownload them. as for my degraded performance. I've fixed it I think. Took some messing around. But basically take any junk you have, in chests, inventory or on mannequins and sell it all. Keeping only bare essentials. I had a lot of alchemy ingredients. Once you've sold it all. Go to the smallest place you can find. With little to no load time. Cave with nothing in it, etc. Nothing in a town. Wait for 3 days. And save. Quit the game. Clear system cash. Restart the game, load the save. I dunno if 1 part of what I did fixed it, or an accumulation of everything. But my game runs smooth as silk again. Sorry for block of text. Posting from blackberry.
 
Yeah that's to fix the water crashing. The other stuff was to fix the bad in game slowdown, load times and stuttering. I've never had the water crashing problem thankfully. Just deleting items didn't cure my problem, just waiting didn't either. Nor did waiting 3 days. It was only when I did all of them did my game run smooth again.
 
Yea I found that water fix on line last night buddy, worked like a treat, now the game runs perfectly.

Was so frustrating especially because I was doing one of the Drak brotherhhod quests and you needed to be in the water.

Well I finally got round to making some stupid good armour. I think my heavy armour perks are 4/5 only, will perk the 5/5 and +25% bonus at some point. My full armour rating at the moment is near on 1300 (Legendry daedric armour ~460).

Enchantments:
Armour - Healing Rate 37% + Stamina Regen 37%
Boots - Carry Weiht +44 + Sneak 48%
Gauntlets - One handed 48% + block 48%
Helmet - Archery 48%+ Lockpicking 48%
Shield - Magic 29% + Magic 23%
Ring - Magic 29% + Magic 23%
Necklace - Magic 29% + Magic 23%

Still can get a bit owned by magic tbh even with 156% restistance to magic. :D

Doesn't magic resistance cap out at something like 80%? I thought it was in the same way that total armour caps out at something like 600 too, even if you add more than that.
 
Liking the look of adding crossbows. I had an idea for a mod a few months back.. Just waiting on getting a PC so I can start on it. A steam powered dwarven crossbow with a scope lol.

I can't wait for this, pretty sure I mentioned a few pages back in this very thread that I wanted mounted combat :D

I just hope they add the ability for companions to ride mounts at some point. I hate seeing them run behind me on foot.
 
Mounted combat will be an awesome addition.

Keep playing this game and trying to finish the main quest; only to be distracted by some other quest that seems interesting, which then leads to other quests.

Still loving it, even after all this time!
 
Woooh Ho... Dawnguard trailer is up.

And the DLC looks pretty damn awesome! Looks like it basically gives vampirism a kick up the butt! Full on Lost Boys style gothic vampire transformation! Oh and yeah, ofcourse theres a storyline too :p

Still not got around to playing this, we move to a new house next week so I might get into then. I understand you can become a werewolf, how soon after starting is that possible?
